Hanging bud direction....

Does it really make a difference if the buds are facing up or down during drying?...I always see them hanging down, but I have an idea for drying them upright.

Haha, might make trimming easier to hang them with tops up, but sounds like a pain in the ass to me.

you hang them upside down so you can use the lowest bud on the stem to hook it to the string, thats the only reason i ever did it.
recently bought a 2 foot diameter 8 level hanging drying rack, and now they lay on their sides, same results, except now they seem to have flat spots now and then
