Had to sign for my Atittude Seeds at the Post Office Today

Checked my PO Box today and it had a slip in it that said "signature required" "sender Royal Mail". I chose the no signature t-shirt method. Freaked me out so I took off and thought about it for awhile and then came back and picked it up. I had to sign for it even though after I got the package it said no sig required. The only positive things were that they arrived in only 6 days and the package wasn't tampered with (customs tag was not ripped on the seam of the package). I would think that if it was some kind of setup that it would have taken a few more days to arrive.
Also I didn't want to get in a debate over the signature thing. Its a small town and I deal with the post office guy on almost a daily basis.

This is the 2nd Attitude pack I have received and the first one was just sitting in my box.

Anyone else ever have to sign for seeds?

Notice any vans with tinted windows in the parking lot of the post office?
That's why I didn't pick it up at first. Wanted to scope out the area. Nothing unusual and with just 10 seeds and a few freebies I'm hoping they're not gonna pick on me.

awww the hilarity of paranoia. Better safe than sorry i guess..The way i look at everything illegal i do is i put myself in some fatass cop or inspectors shoes and determine what they would do. ex: most people on this site grow for personal use and are too small to fly on the radar. governments dont have the extra cash to spend on little busts like 10 seeds and such. But like i said, better to be safe and take the extra precautions than end up in jail with some black dudes cock in your ass!

I just find it strange that the package CLEARLY said "No Signature Required" in two places yet I was told I needed to sign for it. Just thought as a newbie I would run it by you guys that have purchased seeds before.
The feds weren't breaking down the doors this morning looking for 10 Jack Herer seeds so I guessing all is well.

I had to sign for the first one and the second package was just sitting in my mail box...picked the no signature as well but 6 months later and the feds haven't broken down the door!:bigjoint: It's always stressful when ordering!

Was the package too big to fit in your PO. box? They probably didn't want to crush or damage whatever was in there so they kept it behind the counter for you.... nice and safe like. Now you got balls and seeds. ;-)

i was thinking the same thing, but then they would just hand it to him, no? i don't know.

i sent out a padded envelope awhile back. it had a little package in it. as the lady was ringing it up she kept squeezing it. trying to figure out what it was. she gave me a questioning look, like "wth is this?" i just smiled. :bigjoint:

It's good to know I'm not alone with the signature thing and everything is probably cool.

HAHAHAHA I've popped my seed cherry!

They would actually put it in the big package lockers and put a key in my box but this was a tiny parcel that would've fit no problem. I'm pretty sure everything's cool. Thanks for the responses.

I have the exact same situation going on right now. The first time i ordered, it came right to my mailbox no problem. This time I got a pick up slip and have to go get them tomorrow at the post office. I don't get why I have to go get them this time, but not last time. I'm going to go, but the whole thing kind of makes me suspicious, or paranoid if you like.
I'm not worried about getting busted at the post office for seeds, but I'm a little worried about them getting a search warrant for my place after I pick up, but realistically I don't think that will happen.

Leave the package in your car for 2 weeks and if they come, say you didn't remember ordering anything and was planning on taking them back to the post office to return to sender. If they want to confiscate your property all they can take is your vehicle.

If they present a warrant, make sure it is signed and it will say what they are looking for and where they are allowed to search, so make sure they don't start wondering around. That way if it is the package go to the car and get it for them and tell them to stay out of your residence.
