Gypsy is the best!!

First post, i been growing for around 10 years now and i've always had a good strain i could use. Well this was not the case this time so i had no choice but to :

A) look for some shitty bagseed from god knows where....
or
B) order from a few seed banks and see if any get through.

I live down under and wasn't sure how i'd go as i couldn't find many posts on others who lived in oz who had recieved beans from these companies with success.
I ordered from Seed Boutique (twice), PlanetSkunk (twice), cannabisseeds and marijuananseedsnl. I found the most reliable so far is Seed Boutique, 7 days from the day they posted the item it arrived both times. The 1st time PlanetSkunk were good but i'm still waiting for them to arrive this time? They are no good with replying to any emails! The other 2 companies both took the same time as each other. They were both sent 6th and both arrived the 16th. Got FREEBIES with Seed Boutique both times and with marijuanaseedsnl. (5 each time)
This is what i Ordered:

i recieved breeder packs from Seed Boutique and PlanetSkunk, the others came in little bags that were labeled with pen.

Anyway i'm Really Happy With recieving them and the germ rate with them was: Bubble Gum was 10/10, Ge Force 3/5, Mazar-I-Sharif 2/5, Bubble Gummer 3/5.

I am a little inexperienced with starting from seed as i've always used cuttings. I over watered and killed all but 1 Mazar-I-Sharif. The 10 Bubble Gum are all good as they were started 2 weeks later. will do a grow journal.

Im also new at dealing with seeds, I had success with bcseeds.com, all 10 of my Northern Lights germed within 4 days, im currently awaiting an order from Nirvana of Swiss Cheese, they ship Tuesday and Friday as I understand, but I paid on Wed, and it didnt show it as shipped Friday, or maybe the tracking is delayed on the update, I hope they shipped, as im hoping to get one more strain gowing for my outdoor summer grow, crossing my fingers.

Indoors all the way! its just coming into to winter down here in tas and its cold!!!! snow on mountain which would kill for sure. never had any success growing outdoors. Something i tried fair few yers ago when i was like 13 and living at mum and dads place.( anti drugs parents) They used to go missing or mysteriously die. I think mum and dad was sprayin weed killer on them and i think some of my so called mates were pinching them. never got 1 success outdoors. Started indoors when i was 15 have not looked back!!!

hey man where u from ? i was actually meant to use Nirvana the 1st time but used Gypsy Nirvana instead. Glad i Did!! good luck with it let me know if u recieve.

daft question but whats the point of this thread ? an advertisement maybe ? show off the strains you now have ? i dont get it

whats the point to any thread ? its about what ever u wanna say. i'm impressed with getting these little things into Australia. its also to let other Aussies know where to order from, as i said in 1st post there is little info for us Aussies with doing these transactions. whats the point askin what the thread is for ? doesnt that seem clear ?

Gypsy Nirvana and Dr Chronic are both great places. I think Gypsy Nirvana is a little faster and they give you freebies. I ordered 20 Mandala Hashberry and 20 Mandala Safari Mix seeds on 5/9/09 and they showed up on 5/16/09 in the states with 5 free Mazar seeds. Only one of the Mazar seeds looked viable, but they are free so who would complain about that?

thats so funny u say that, i've go 2 different packs of mazar-i-sharif from gyps and both times i've only got 2 good out of 5. Better than none esp when they free!!!!

the post reads as an advert , lets just say i wouldnt be supprosed at all if your gypsy going on the title of the thread alone

theres loads of seedbanks with a good rep who hand out free seed such as doc chronic and seedmans , theres also local to australia seedbanks such as x-pat seeds also so do keep your options open
, ive sent out loads to aussies in the past with a perfect record of recieving so unless the rules have been changed recently it doesnt seem to hard to get seed down under

free seeds is not the reason why i used them, thats just a bonus! i have looked at seedsmans website bit over priced! dr chronic seems ok ill give them or x pat they seem to look good. (but they all do) x pat not much choice. , Marijuana possession and cultivation is illegal Aust wide, no med certs or any thing to that affect. so its not as easy as u think they are intercepted each and every day. anyway thanks for adding to the thread, i stay with a good thing if i know i got it.

Your lucky! For my money Gypsy is the worst! I ordered from gypsy nirvana and they got here in about a week. They came in a nice pack. None of the seeds are any good. If they sprout at all they come out deformed with no leafs or one (looks lke a mohawk). I have been growing for over 35 years Iam growing White Widow Mazar Crystal AK 47 and Nevals Haze all but the Haze from marijuana-seeds.nl and all are growing super great (the ww is just about 2 feet and a solid bush at one month old today wo wo). I have had 100% of seeds sprout with no deformed sprouts. With every seed from gypsy nirvana dyeing but two and those two being way deformed I would say you got lucy. Now I know any one can get a few old seeds no big deal as seed banks take care of those problems right? Well not so at gypsy nirvana. They REALY DONT CARE AT ALL ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS!! If the seeds you get from them grow then its a cool deal but if you have any problems at all they will just blow you off. No replys and if they do reply you will wish thay hadnt cus these guys at gypsy nirvana are very RUDE! I realy think you can do better cus if you have to contact these guys youll find its just not worth the money you payed for the seeds. Now that being said anyone know how to save a sprout with a mohawk? LO!

gypsy doesnt breed them there fore has no impact on weather they sprout/germinate or not, i ordered several packs of beans from several different breeders ALL sent from Gypsy Nir vana. i got some from Nirvana (NRS) some flying dutchman and some female X-line seeds. all the Nirvana ones germ/sprouted 10/10, the Flying dutchman was 3/5 (Fem) and the female x-line seeds 3/5 (fem) i also got 5 freebies (mazar) and i got 4/5 with those. So my ratios were a bit over the show but its the breeder who makes the seeds not gypsy. i understand what your saying though! what company bred the seeds ? they were possibly from some company with not much good genetics etc.. u know what i mean ?
