GYO seedbank cinderella 99

Looking for a bit of advice when to switch to flowering!
Im 5 weeks into veg with gyo seedbank cinderella 99!
They are growing in biobizz light mix!
600w hps 18/6 with a cheap Chinese 1000w led (actual draw about 150w) to light the lower stems that struggle for light!
They approximately 8 inch tall each!
They are not fully mature as the nodes are not alternating!
I fimmed them once about 2 weeks ago and they coped well with it!
I struggled with ph problems but now have it under control! Sitting at just under ph 7!
Also had nitrogen problem but believe it or not one dose of miracle gro all purpose fixed that within 3 days of feeding them it!
Feeding them at 500ppm at the moment with tap water (150 ppm) biobizz grow nutrients!
I have 4 in a 4x4x7 grow tent!
Obviously as we all do I want as much yield as I can get but don't want to be fighting the plants to keep them in check!
I have a scrog net fitted so I'm ready for it if it's needed!
All and any advice appreciated!20180224_200513.jpg 20180224_200510.jpg 20180224_200504.jpg 20180224_200501.jpg 20180224_200453.jpg 20180224_170432.jpg

plants are pretty small for 5 weeks old. What distance are the plants from the light?
Yeah I thought they were a little small myself! Obviously the growth was stunted for a while with the ph and nitrogen problems I've had! The lights are 18 inches from the canopy as the reflector isn't a cooltube so Im afraid of burning them! The led is lighting them from the side about 12 inch from them!
I think I'll just give them another week or so in veg and just flip the lights anyway! Hopefully the will just take off! Being 75% sativa strain I was expecting a lot more growth and stretch! The nodes have around 1/2 inch separating them so the lights must be in a good position as it's not stretching to search for more light!
They are growing in 4 gallon (UK measurement scale) cloth pots that they have been in from germination and the leaves are really green like the are supposed to be so it's a bit of a head scratcher!

Just an update! I flipped the lights to 12/12 on saturday and they seem to have taken off! Having a few problems with temperature fluctuations with the bad weather we are having here in the UK so I added a heat tube to help keep them nice and warm!
They are really showing more indica at the moment with being short (10 inch) and stocky with fat leaves!

The little fellow at the front is a NYC diesel automatic I started off 10 days ago! I know the yield from this won't be very big growing under 12/12 but it was a free seed so I chucked her in anyways!

In 3rd week of 12/12 and 3 out of the 4 are stretching as they should and growing loads of pistils!
This last one has me scratching my head! The seeds I bought were feminised so obviously they can only be either female or hermaphrodite but everything is pointing to it being a male!
What do people think?

I pulled what I think is the hermie and passed it to a friend to grow out on its own! Saves killing it incase I'm wrong about its sex!
The 3 remaining Cindy's have really taking off! I'm into week 4 of bloom and she's filling up the tent quickly! C99 is a greedy bitch! I'm having to water her daily feeding nutrients every other day!20180318_221103.jpg 20180319_054845.jpg

Beginning of week 5 bloom!
I hope these buds start to swell soon as the yield won't be as good as i was expecting from the girls!

If your ph is just under 7 it is way to high you want it between 6.0-6.5 no higher than that trust me you’ll notice the difference
It's a soil grow! They are in biobizz light mix! Soil buffers the ph to the correct level! I'll take more attention to the ph levels from now and see how they go! Thanks for the response to my thread

Yeah that’s the ph I’ve always used in soil I’ve just switched to hydro and hydro ph is 5.8-6.3 soil is 6.0-6.5h that’s the optimal ph anyway good luck bro looks like you’ve got it down.

I'll be making the switch to hydro and led my next grow! Seems the way forward and better yields! I'll keep this thread updated weekly with how they are progressing! Thanks for your advice!

Yeah to be honest I was a bit skepticle about switching to hydro, if you check out my old journal that was my first soil grow but since I switched to hydro it’s so much nicer, I’m only 1 week in on a 8pot rdwc system but the growth and everything is so much better than soil.
Well worth it I run it with 3 600w HIDs.

5 weeks down give or take 3 left to go! C99 is stacking the weight on! Still not showing any crystals/trichomes.
Hopefully over next week or two that will change! Not much smell so the filter is obviously doing its job.
NYC Diesel Auto grown alongside the c99 at 12/12 is flowering well! Not expecting a great yield from her but was a free seed I threw in for the sake of it!

Begining of the 7th week. Buds starting to swell now and distinctive but not strong smell when tent door is open. Thrichomes are forming and can notice a difference in the leaves (look like dust has settled on them) won't be long now until I see the frost. I think they are going to take longer than what GYO state on there site.

Day 56 in flower but they don't seem anywhere near ready for harvest. They are still shooting out pistils and just this past week the frost has finally started.
Trichomes are still 80% clear so I'm thinking maybe they still have another week or two minimum before I can even think about harvesting them.

65 days in bloom.
Trichomes are 100% milky with a few amber here and there.
Final flush tonight then lights off tomorrow for 48 hours before chop.
Sorry for the picture quality.
