Guy with 9ft lady again.

So a most I of you know i have a pretty huge plant that is all jacked up in genetics soI have a question. Every day i wake up it seems like there is more and more brown hairs popping out everyday. can some one expplain. oh not to forget that little tiny christals everywhere that the white hairs are at. of course i cant get pictures of the christals because theyre to small or brown hairs but what do you think?

u need a mircoscope [atleast 30x] and look at the crystals on it you you want either 70% milky 30% amber for a good high or 70% amber 30% milky for couchlock.

there isnt any buds its just white hairs and brown hairs and christals. how do you smoke that? by making hash?

say whaaaaaa? where are these brown hairs coming out of?

i saw your other post, the one that is 9 pages, that thing needs light, nutrients. and if its got brown hairs coming outa those bud sites, it may be getting too late, and harvest may need to happen soon

harvest soon? its coming out of the bud site (brown hairs are) and your saying harvest? its been in flowering for 3 months lol I got a messed up batch of seeds lol. uglyest grow ive seen before. What are you supposing I do?

The white hairs come out of a calyx, those calyxs' will grow and become more calyxs with more white hairs. These white hairs become brown hairs and go back into the calyx when its near to harvest. It is these calyxs that we dry and smoke.


Wait until MOST white hairs have turned brown and start checking the "crystals" or trichomes looking for a colour change.


Until this time comes do some reading about harvesting.

What did it grow 3ft in 3 days?
Still got some time yet if its still stretching like that.

the brown hairs coming outa the bud sites, are the buds! the reason theres not big buds is cuz you have 1000000 tiny ones. grab a microscope and check the trichromes, if they are clear, im 100% wrong, but im gonna go out on a limb and say they are cloudy or amber. and its harvest time.

i think the reason the buds are small but you got a 9 foot plant, is low light. more light = smaller bushier plant, and bigger nuggs. for a 9 foot plant, you would need a LOT of light to make big buds.

they say you need atleast 30x magnification, or a jewelers loupe. ironically, i am a jeweler and have NEVER seen a loupe other than 10x or 15x. (anything stronger is for diamonds, and use a microscope that does 50x or 100x.) i use the ordinary jewelers loupe, 10x. and can see them. i also have good vision...

Either way, the trichomes are what ya need to see. usually the Pistils (inch long hairs coming outa the calyx, or bud sites) will be white/yellow and start turning browner around the time that trichromes turn brown. Brown hairs, on a 9ft plant, 3 months flowering, makes me say its done, or damn near. i hope this helps

sweet I also think its done. I just cant get my hands on a micro scope till i get payed in 3 days. alsoI have no clue how I'm going to harvest this and or how to make hash. guess I have somemore reading to do.

any advice? Could this thing wait another few days?
