Gurilla grow, possibility of bud mold. Need help!!

Grow spot:N.CALI, valley, near marshy humid area.
My plant is doing good so far, has buds with almost 50% of hairs aumber/brown color and no sign of mold, but it is getting increasingly colder at night, now down to high 50's. And with the possibility of a small rainshower tomorrow night I'm wondering if I suld harvest asap b4 the showers? Or, I have a crazy idea that maybe seasoned growers could criteek this, but if I were to make a makeshift shelter, more like a greenhouse, over my plant to protect it from the rain, would that even help or would it hurt my buds in their final, more optional, weeks of it's flowering stage? Thanks:-)

If you have the possibility to protect them somehow, I would. That of course would be the best option imo.

Yea if you can protect it during that rain, then you should be okay but as soon as water gets into dense and late flowering bud it can get bad. Just watch it carefully and cover it the beat you can.

So I clipped the main cola this afternoon and gathered the other 5 or so branches together, tied em up a bit onto the support strings they were formally attached to and put a biggg clear plastic bag over the top. Cut a few holes so they culd breathe and then I secured the bag from blowing away. You guys think this will help or do more harm?
Thanks

Gotta help, although you could have maybe thrown up a tarp and put them under it. I had to do that a week ago during hurricane-like storms, and it worked to perfection. Dry buds are happy buds. :-)

You should be coo.

jacked as in someone stole your plants? Ouch man, bummer! Another reason to turn on an indoor light and harvest 6 times a year instead I guess :)

Thats not right, only growers would understand and know how much pain this really causes, times are depressing enough at the mo! A budy had one stolen right out of his garden a week ago, ripped out of the ground - had 3 weeks left, he's not a happy camper eh!!! This 1st pick was taken in July 8ft up a tree, photo taken early August - became a real munster! Then just before It could show sex a flood took it away!!! God bless plan A & B. Its my first year of growing but ive learnt so much from 3 seperate gro sites. It appears its gonna be very difficult to get a plant to finnish properly here in Ireland. I'll try my best!! (Damp soil was a problem, up a tree seems to be the answer for future years.) Savour the cola....

I do have massive mold problems at one site though we had a very wet end to the summer when the plants were really big and dark green. Although two plants continue to resist and one is 6ft (last pic), I will cover them two for the oncomming rain and with the last 4 days of sun the buds will at least be dry. And fingers crossed I'l have sticky fingers in 3 weeks. The purple buds and leaves in this cooler weather is truly beautiful. Stoked!
