I lived in Lafayette where he is from for a few years. Knew a few peeps that knew him (Axl) back in the day and confirmed he's a narcissistic asshole.

Shannon Hoon was cool as fuck though.

yeah..like numerous people said before...it's NOT guns n roses..it's axl and who ever...i still say that if axl was on vocals for velvet revolver it would actually be guns n roses....i think velvet revolver is the closest thing there will ever be to g n' r....i hate it when people just think because the singer starts something and calls it the same, it is....gee...does anyone remember the greatest thing about it?..oh yeah..THE MUSIC??..axl wouldn't be any where without the rest of the band...and no, a new line up cannot imatate that sound..it's more then just notes and chords..it's emotion..
