Guerilla Growing Watering 12v pump

i was thinking about making a mini solar generator to power a 12v pump, would this work?

It could work fine. (but if you read the comments below the vid, they aren't very supportive)

but for rnning a watering pump should be an easy task. its only going to run for a few minutes every few days. The solar charger should be able to keep the battery topped off.

Look at orangeshovel's thread on a automatic guerilla watering system. The only
power you need for that is a few batteries for the water timer.
