guerilla growing from seed

how many have done it successfully?

i'm talkin- venturing out to a good grow spot that recieves adequate sunlight and has fertile soil, stickin ur finger in the soil, dropping seeds and returning a few weeks/months later to find plants maturing?

In other words- have you grown effortlessly and yielded some tasty crop?

I have 11 plants that i'll be transplanting to a grow site soon and replacing with a mix of my own soil/watering when needed/etc.

I ask tho Q tho cuz today I went around on my bike through trails finding good grow spots in the woods and sowing seeds everywhere. Probably a good 40 seeds or so spread among 6 different locations

I've never done it myself but others have. You need your plants getting enough water, and you should make a couple trips to them to give em some nutes. A problem though when you are starting from seed and just planting them and harvesting them is your going to get a lot of males, which is gonna get all your girls pregnant. If your starting with clones you know what sex their gonna be. Also I would germinate my seeds inside and then plant em outside, you will have a much higher survival rate that way.

good points...thanks for the tip as well

yea i have a bunch of plots of around 5-7 plants. im in the northeast so i figure most of em won't reach a significant height before they start flowering. but as they continue to develop i'm sure i'll begin maintenance on them (water, natural deer/pest repellents, etc).

i also did this w/5 seeds about a week ago and all 5 popped up. howeeevverr.....2 of them are growing side by side (guess i dropped 2 seeds in one hole, oops). I'll prob just let em grow tho

I'd just stay far away from where my plants are growing. Unless you want some seedy weed.

And what if only two make it out of the forty you sow, they are both male, and you get caught by Cocknuckles the park ranger going back to see if you have any bud. I don't know about in your state but in mine a plant is a plant.

But for me, it's way to hard to find spots to do something like that. If I find a place worthwhile then I'll put one there. But they'll be a foot tall when they get there and I'll replace the soil and yada yada

Just some stoned thoughts.

no problem, You might want to cut 1 of the seedlings down that is planted in the same hole. Two 5 foot plants growing an half an inch apart might suck, especially if the one turns into a male. One strain you growing?

thanks guys. anybody else have any luck doin this? I live in northern new england and fortunately have plenty of spots nearby to be doing this. And since each spot is pretty small and spaced anywhere from 50 yards to about a mile apart in unsuspecting places w/lots of shrubs and growth around it, i'm really not as worried about law enforcement as i am hunters and such come hunting season.

And yea everything is bagseed. First-timer, been readin up on this for a while, but didn't wanna invest much loot my first time around. A friend hooked me up with what he called "12 seeds from real good stashes that seemed to be indica dominant, based on the high atleast..." so i might sprout those seedlings yet and find a nice patch to grow those too.

Yea I know, it's a lot to start with. But i figure I have chances in numbers

oh and Angus- I know where I planted everything, so I'll hit up each spot and rip the males when that time of year comes around

adios
