Molasses chokes your mycorrhizae. Better to not use it.

May I suggest,

http://oregonsonly.com/aphrodite

and

http://oregonsonly.com/mega-morpheus

Proof is in the flowers, and it has only been about a week of feeding with these two added in. There may be other ways to get what your wanting, this is of the best though, and can really only be experienced on your own.

I will feed all the way through late fruiting, and then just RO pH'd water.
I respectfully disagree. It's cool though. To each their own.

Keys.... Nobody is dumping straight molasses on to their plants as you're implying. It's used at apx a tablespoon per gallon of water. Diluted to the point that its not going to "choke" anything. It's primarily used as a food stock in an ACT. On top of that it contains a good deal of trace minerals as well. I'm sure there are other things that could be used in its place, but molasses is relatively inexpensive and easy to find.

Molasses is usually made from sugarcane or beets. If the sugarcane/beets are grown organically and no chemmy additives are added, then it's organic molasses.

I just finished reading the Rev's TLO book and he says that too much molasses can cause a ton of problems. Molasses has magnesium in it, so if you end up using too much of it you'll end up messing with your Mg levels. He doesn't seem to use more than 1tsp of molasses per gallon of tea. He also has a great finishing tea that someone above referenced, the minimal ingredients in this tea also confirms what a lot of people in here have already posted. Here it is for anyone that is interested (ALL credit goes to The Rev and his book "True Living Organics (TLO)", I take no credit and highly recommend the read). This is just for a one gallon bucket, so take that into consideration.

- 1 cup Earthworm Castings
- 1/4 cup Fox Farm Big Bloom
- 1 tsp kelp meal
- 1 tsp molasses

Bubble for 24-48 hours and you're good to go!
