Nice, my resevoir I don't circulate it or aerate and no problems man. Just fill it back up after 4days. Easy Peasey

Canna told me that coco is aerated enough.

When you water , they drain the perfect amount and it sucks in new air.

I don't ph anymore, it's alwase perfect.

Res Temps are in range... Probably 20-23 c
No slime , just some salt resedue from the water going down.

I do tend to agree on the coco/O2 ratios, but in my career as an Agronomist with many yrs of working with water, I have seen the difference that high Desolved O2 makes in plants. I did some grad work in greenhouses and one the the projects I worked on was DO. We determined that in every species of plants that were in the study were visually and structurally (roots, stems, branches and leaves), where by a high % better in high DO water than than plants watered with the same water only not aerated.
So although I would not use air stones again, passive is my choice. The more O
2 in the root zone the better.

As far as the pH issue, since I began mixing my solution and giving it at least 12 hours recirculation prior to pH that it remains fairly stable over the two to three days before refilling the rez. I do check it daily and will make adjustments though it is really not necessary as my fluctuation over the 3 day period runs no more 0.13, or from 5.8 to 5.93 over that period. I can live with that as it is good within the nute range spectrum.

Since I switched from Boost to Green Tree, I don't get any slime but do get a dark residue build up in the tank which is just, I think it is humates from the Green Tree which is not a problem at all.

I was just looking at the grow prior to closing the tent.
I must say, for doing nothing but LST and some defo, I am really liking what is happening in the tent.
The canopy is impressively level and filling in very nicely.

The plant in the back right is the pheno #3, has been a real bitch during the original grow and now she is worse. Cal/Mag hog, low heat pressure and compared to the 4 pheno #1's is spindly and slight. But a very good medicine!
20180306_213731 (2).jpg

I am excited for where we are at this point, 3 to 4 plus weeks to go and they are doing nothing but getting fatter. Really liking the nute program, the drip system is starting to work better as the roots continue to mass and the plants are drinking very well. I do believe that I need to increase the Cal/Magic/Epsom in future grows during veg and the first few weeks of flower.
I just started adding KoolBloom Dry for 2 +/- weeks. Starting with the lower rate, when rez is refilled I will go 3/4 rate till completion. I refill the rez every two days so I will watch the ladies and adjust the KoolBloom if necessary. This ladies parents responded well to KoolBloom, both liquid and dry, so looking forward to this harvest.

Day 38 12/12

Wanted to give a little update on changes made to the 4 x 4 today.

I did this a couple of grows ago, using both LED and a single 315W CMH. This grow I just added the
CLW SS400 LED between the two 315W.
I moved the 315's to the sides of the tent and tilted them about 30% and placed the SS400 in the middle. I will be rotating the plants on a daily or every two day basis. Did this setup with the Super Citrus Haze and WW grow in 16/17 only used just one 315W.

Here is the setup now, light height is for both 315's at average 18 with the tilt, and the LED is at 20 inches.
20180308_085928 (2).jpg 20180308_085729.jpg 20180308_085803.jpg

I will run this for the final 3.5 to 4 weeks and will be turning the two UV lamps that are part of the SS400 setup in a week. Have to make some structural changes in the tent to get the LED to hang properly over the plants, but not a major issue.

Just ordered me a new timer, going to give it a shot.
Autopilot Dual Outlet 7-Day Grounded Digital Programmable Timer, 1725W, 15A, 1 Second On/Off , Made by Hydrofarm. around $14. Worth a shot.

Been wanting to try multi short watering times. Currently the I am using 5 one minute times, 9:00 &10 PM, 12:15 , 3:15, and 6:15 AM. Each minute is around 1/2 to 3/4 gallon, so appox 2.5 to 3.5 gallon per night with around 1 gallon runoff. Total 5 minutes.
Would like to do about the same amt only in a different pattern. Do 8 cycles, so 1.5 hrs between cycles 9, 10:30, 12,,,, etc. First cycle would be 1.5 minutes, they have been fairly dry after 12 hr night cycle, and then 30 seconds for the next 6 cycles and the last cycle do a 1.5 minutes, to get a good wetting prior to night cycle w/some runoff. They will have 1.5 hrs after final cycle to take in solution so they should be too wet during the night. I am thinking I will get better use of the solution as one minute is too much per cycle, and yet be able to set the final time to sort of mini flush at the end of the cycles. Total 6 min.

Here we are at day 49, week 7 of flower.
Going another 7 days then begin flush and harvest some time around week 9 +/-.
They are not looking all that spiffy with the leaf burn, but they are drinking everything I have been giving them with 4 cycles during the 12 hr light period, and are plenty dry by the time lights come on at 9 PM. They are plumping up nicely with very few red hairs showing so I am sure I can go at least a week or so.

This is the #5 Pheno Monster Crop. Today I attached a 24 x 24 inch screen, not for SCrog but to just tie the branches down. I will be transplanting soon from this 3 gallon to a ????? gallon Smart Pot (10 to 25 gallon), so needed to make it where it will be easy to remove the screen. The roots have already starting growing out the sides of the SP's. It will probably be in the 10 to 15 gallon range as I am not sure my tent will handle it if I go with a 25 gallon, an would have to veg longer.

Guess I should start a journal for this one plant.

Today is day 56/week 8 of flower.

Have decided to harvest the 4 x pheno #1 plants next Sunday/Monday day 62/63. Will harvest one on Sunday because my G/F is here on the weekends only and wants to help with the harvest.
Anyway they are doing very well, no problems to report, I love it when that happens.

20180326_205611 (2).jpg

But today I harvested the #3 pheno that has been a problem child from day one. Always lagged behind, never a strong root developer, smaller and lighter producer. She was the worse damaged by the stretch problem I had. But, she smells sweet, very tight buds no larf at all and good tight groupings.

20180326_194238 (2).jpg

She has less than 30% of the mass of the 4 pheno #1's so I don't expect a lot of weight out of her, but expect a wonderful product. And as a hobbyist that is all I want. Good buds make good medicine.

Getting down to the stretch now, just 5 days remaining.
Barneys Farm LSD Pheno #1 at day 58 of flower.
20180327_090008 (2).jpg 20180327_205758 (2).jpg 20180327_205828 (2).jpg 20180327_205850 (2).jpg 20180327_205858 (2).jpg 20180327_205858 (2).jpg 20180327_205916 (2).jpg 20180327_205925 (2).jpg

They have been on straight water now since Saturday and are just bulking up. Red hairs are becoming more predominate now. I increased the exhaust fan speed to pull more air into the tent and lower the lights on temps. They were running approx 82 degrees lights on and 68 lights off, I am now running 78 degrees lights on and 68 lights off.

Pheno #3 has been hang drying since Monday and getting a good slow dry. Have them in the same room as the irrigation setup so humidity level is good for slow drying, 56 to 65 percent. Will plastic bag the buds tomorrow night for 12 to 24 hrs to let them absorb the moisture remaining in the stems, followed by hanging for two to three days. They should go into jars Sat or Sun to begin curing process.

GR

Headed into the city this evening for surgery tomorrow, so I rearranged the tent to be able to put the Monster Crop plant in the tent so it can be hooked to the irrigation system. Should be home by Friday morning so 2 days of 12/12 should not cause too much hormonal change in the plant. Hell it may even freak that bitch out and make her ever more of a Monster. LOL

Thanks guys, sore but okay.

Last night when I got home I pull the MC out of the tent and put it back under 18//6. Took a couple of pics.
The group pics don't really change when we get to this point so here is just a couple of bud pics.

Day 63 Chop day!

One of the four just prior to chop.
20180402_110013 (2).jpg

This was the heaviest plant, 6 mains branches and a shit load of stems off the main branches.
20180402_102405 (2).jpg 20180402_102206 (2).jpg

Another of the side branches from another plant. This had 9 main branches.
20180402_140413 (2).jpg

Some bud shots.

Now to concentrate on the Monster Crop Pheno #5 of Barneys Farm LSD. I have started a new journal for this grow, the link is in my signature.

Harvested last Monday on day 63, hung until Wednesday when the racks collapsed in the drying room. Got the Stackit drying screens out and placed the buds on them.
20180405_230005.jpg

Thursday morning when they were dry to the touch on the outer layer but still very pliable. Took the buds down and put them in a plastic bag and sealed them till late that night, did not want to leave the plastic overnight so I put them in paper bags . On Friday mid day I removed the buds from the paper bag and put them back into the plastic bag. Saturday morning they were put on the Stackit drying screens and put back into the drying room to finish, until this morning.

Removed them off the screen and put them in a quart jar box to start the trimming process.
20180408_083122.jpg

Then I trimmed them for going into the jars for curing. I remove all side buds and leave the last few inches of the arrow buds.
20180408_092500.jpg

After weighing they were put back into the box to be transferred to the jars.
20180408_091430.jpg

Was running a little short on jars so had to pack them a bit but finished with 10 quarts and two half gallon jars. Show 11 quarts but combined that small amount the the middle jar with some of the other jars.
20180408_095018.jpg

Now for a two to three week cure, twice daily burps for the first week plus then every other day till cured.

This was 647 grams from 4 plants of Pheno #1 and 98 grams of Pheno #3 (not pictured) that was harvested last week it comes to 745 grams, 26.5 zips or 1.18 grams/watt. I do expect to lose around 5% more weight during cure, but I am a very happy man. Will be making oil very shortly.

Just a few more pics of harvest.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.
Now the Monster Crop grow is on and it's going to be fun.
