alright so currently my room is just shy of 4ft x 8ft and the plants are currently only on the floor but im thinking i can get higher yield if i rearranged or did a differnt style

right now its 1 600watt hps light

would i get higher yields if i did a stadium grow? possibly stadium sog.. or do you guys have any other suggestion for higher yield in this space with 1 600watt light. (my dad thinks running anymore electricity will attract attetion from electric company, even though im medical)

brb with pictures :)

I have only seen a few threads of people that have done that, but it makes sense to me...as long as the ladies all get light, make sure you have a thermometer at each step of the stadium, temps will be higher up top. I was thinking of trying to do a few upside down hanging plants...like those ones the sell for tomatoes at 3 am on infomercials...might be too messy for indoors though..

You can get a co2 system that will help boost yields. Are you growing in soil? What size pots are you using?
Are you fimiliar with LST or topping? You could add a light mover to get more lumens spread throughout the canopy.
You just need to use your present space more efficiently as opposed to starting over or switching to an unfamiliar medium such as hydro. There can be prohibitive costs associated with hydroponics systems(some not all). Pumps, timers, meters, water filtration(if necessary). Growing hydroponically can involve more work and know how to achieve the desired results.
For example when using a hydro system and say you end up with a nutrient defficiency you need to know how to fix it immediately first you need to know exactly what is wrong. This can be difficult. Adding the wrong fix could kill your plants or not fixing it soon enough could kill them. As there is no buffer between your roots and the nutrient solution being fed to the roots, like you would have in soil or a peat moss mix. Soil or soilless mixes give you more time to notice the issue and more time to implement or research a possible fix. Just my thoughts. I'll shut up now. LOL
