I live in a state which has legal medical marijuana, being so, I get ahold of clones quite easily and for frickin cheap...they cut, plant, humidify and root the clone into a spongy rootinng cube for me, so when I get it, it is about 6-7" tall.... if i veg it for a bit and get the stems a bit stronger how soon can I induce flowering? My idea is to have 1 rubbermaid box or some type of stealth grow box that is made for 1-2 small clones that I will be LSTing and hopefully flowering as early as possible... my whole idea here is to find a way to do a steath grow in a single rubbermaid box not two stacked ontop of each other like most poeple do....I also would like to run a 150w hps but if i cant in this small of an area i can go all cfls... Basically I wanna know when i can start my clones flowering (and still get more than a couple grams yield) and what kind of lights i can run in say a 30-40 gallon rubbermaid thank you!!!! KUSH.

ya I know I can induce flowering any time...but if I do it after like 1 week of veg im only looking at like a couple grams per plant right? Or am I wrong, let me know!

you should look in the cfl growing theres lots of good ones in there seen a few rubbermaids with 2 stacked on each other heres a link https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/ there should be you answers in there im thinking of doind somthing simalar for a vegging chamber
??? ive been all thru those... thats why im posting here... i am asking for advice on a SINGLE rubbermaid like i said earlier, i cant do 2 stacked... thats why i am asking how early to flower and doing LST to save my vertical height
i want to make a single rubbermaid container and go for the shortest (but they can be buushy!) plants possible (thats why I need to know how tall they should be to atleast yield around a half ounce each atleast)
maybe my club has some autoflowering clones.. doubt it tho
I was thinking of doing the biggest one I can fit in my closet width and depth dont matter much but its like 2 or so feet tall
im not really sure how to make scrog work, i have had it explained to me but dont see the difference between it and LST i must be missing something
so ive been told watt = watt heat wise whether it be fluro HPS MH or incandescent, the watts generate same heat... or is this wrong information? SO say i have over 150w total watts of cfls isnt that the same heat as 1 150w hps would put out? and in that case the red-orange spectrum of the HPS is preferable? im a noob here so help is appreciated

well this is a lil bigger than you want to go but heres a scrog with lots of pictures https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/120698-400w-closet-organic-s-c.html and the cfl's just disperse heat better and you want a mix off cfl's some cool and some warm i'll find the exact spectrum in a min but theres nothing better than hid is there any reason you cant just use your whole closet

warm white bulb (2700K or 3000K) and cool white bulb (4100K, or btter yet 5000K or 6500K) the numbers are the spectrum they should be posted on the box when you buy them the warm bulb is more for flowering and the cool bulb for vegging but if you mix them it will be just fine
