Growing with 250 watt HPS

I am setting up a small grow room with a 250 watt hps for flowering and wanted to see what success other people might have had with a simular setup. Please share your stories and pix so I can get an idea of how successful I can expect my grow to go.

ie. how many plants you had growing and what yield you achieved?

I use a 250 watt during the summmer to keep heat down. I flowered 3 plants last time and got a little over 2 oz. The plants were from BC Mango seed

i've npt grown with a 250 but there are some rules of thumb from this site:

250 watts hps = 28,500 lumens
target lumens/sq ft = 6,000
grow space = 4.75 sq ft = 4 -6 medium sized plants. i'm not familiar with your strain however.

the tricky part of a yield question is whether you;re doing the basics right -soil, water, light, nutes and air. experienced growers who get the basics right would get about 4 ounces from your setup. saying how much a noobie would get is impossible given all of the variables and your ability to get it done without any practice.
