growing too tall

I just started flowering indoors and they are already growing tall. Can I bend them over around a coat hanger and let them grow in a circle instead of straight up?? I'm limited on height space.

guess still in veg, right?

if so you got 2 good options and one bad. the good would be either LST, so tying the plant down in awkward shapes, and or topping the plant by quiet a bit. the thing with LST is that you have to start early on which is now a bit late, so i would rater top them by up to 6" from the top down and the branches theat will then grow i would tie sideways in LST style.

the bad would be to flower now.

Im having a similar problem, however I have been in flowering for 3 weeks now and my tops are really close to the light, now Im having leaf problems any suggestions? I am tying it down a little so it doesn't get burnt by the light. My leaves are now cupping and curling at the tips and 1 is yellow... I have no idea what to do

well since you so far into flower now topping would wasted your harvest away. Now there are two options left you could try. first is a bit usual one, just tie the plant down, so attach a string to the top and tie it to the rim of your pot or a hook in the floor. and then slowly put more tension on it, slowly so that the stem or branch won't break. needs some space but works great.

second, less conventional method would be a horizontal grow if you have not the space to tie it down but lay it down instead, or at lease level them down sideways.

get a bigger grow room or top your plants when they are about as half the size of your room

Someone who is pretty good at doing this told me that tying them down is the way to go. I think green_nobody is right.

lower fan leaves will die of just natural if they get not enough light, so if that happens nothing to worry for you;)

if it looks different then that get a cam and post pics in a new thread. then we can have a look at it and don't need to guess around;)

Same problem here, I have sativa breed I suspect....did the SCROG method at 12\" and she was trained and cut to have only 6 main stems.... now all 6 are above screen and 24\" and still going....been in 12/12 for 4 weeks...using 6 42w CFL with reflectors.....I to am wondering what to do... all growth has bushed as well... had 5\" between all stems now they have all filled in and are overlapping....wondering how much taking some fan leaves off would hurt?
