Growing TGA's Chernobyl & Vortex

Yep just finished 2 rounds with the new bubble bags, 1st round is from a guy I found on CL. He posted looking for someone to make & split with him.

I spent 10 bucks on ice and got like 5 grams from the 1st round and I have another bag of fresh cuttings from him that I am using next & also using the ice / bubble bag method

I have a 22 gallon tote with the 5 gallon bucket in the middle, then fill ice & water around it to match the water level of the bucket to keep things cool. Then I run a cement bit on my cordless drill for 10 minutes then let it sit for 20 after mixing, then drain the ice / cuttings & strain them. Then run the bags, I ran a second run with the drill / bit after I was done using the bags & got almost as much as the 1st time so make sure to run it twice

Off to the liquor store to get more ice, will post some pics when I am done

You didn't have to wait that long

So I took these just after the 1st run this is from the Chernobyl plant for she was very leafy & I went into industrial mode pulling the outer leaves by hand the clipping the ends of the sugar leaves & leaving the good stuff. I had this drying since last night & just threw the Vortex in the freezer for tomorrow's run

These guys helped me make it happen


Look at the beauteous hashish, the older looking stuff is some old dry stuff I had hanging around but you can see how nice the Chernobyl water hash turned out

Man, my friend bought the box set cause he "always used to watch it'......I swear to god man...idk what happened.
It's just not funny anymore. And I was high! Some episodes are still classics...but.we'll, no sir, i don't like it.

I do watch it as white noice when I go to sleep or when it's like 4-5 in the mmorning...if it's on.

Stick with bevis and butthead, their still pretty funny...heh

Good mindless TV as I say it, some of those episodes were classics, the wrestling one & Space madness always standout in my mind

Looking forward to seeing the progress on that cross, as well as how the Vortex bubble-run goes! I am an edible lover so I am usually likely to make butter with my Vortex sugar-trim....but Tcurtiss photos have a way of motivating/inspiring...and I bet your Vortex bubble will have a similar effect and I'll be dying to get some bags!! Anyways, much appreciation for your weekend updates, they rock!

props on this grow! I followed the whole thing you should your strain after you grow it out and smoke it tho, currently the "space madness" is just a bunch of seeds you got by chucking pollen right? Wait till you grow a few out, smoke the phenos, then come up with a suitable name, just my two cents. Like the photos. Love tga.

So check this out we have been hanging around with TGA seeds & chatting with Sub for about a year now and it is no longer just a brand. It's a way of life and this man has changed mine, seeing his youtube page made my week and it has been a tough one for I lost someone close to me this past week so it's nice to have something to smile about

With that being said this summer I have met up with the man & his crew, a great bunch of people to come across any day of the week and if you listen closely you just might learn something.


So I suffer from arthritis in one of my knees from old sports injuries as most of had if you were active when you were younger you also have a few dents in the fender. So meeting him this summer and getting some of his tincture that really was a treat & opened my eyes on what this plant is all about.


When I was using the tincture I had cut back dramatically on my pain meds - morphine & Ibuprofen, that stuff really made my days & evening easier dealing with the pain. I have a couple bottle brewing currently & have some more coming this weekend when we chop down Farah and will continue to make that for myself


Some of the plants are showing small amount of mold with the cold night temps, so I have been putting them in the garage at night before I head to bed then putting them out 1st thing in the morning


The Chernobyl & Vortex cured just fine but I am going to wait for the next batch to give a smoke report, these gals dried up a little to quickly for my taste so it would not be fair to evaluate at this time. I have some more of both flowering at this time


And the new Chernobyl plant outside is still growing as it should & her counter part with the seedlings has been moved into the cabinet to maximize the end product since the sun is under 12 hours these days.


Farah really has some amazing colors so I will grab some shots for tomorrow until then

You want advise try Sub's Super Soil, that's what I am using with a few mods I made to what you add & again Sub says it is a baseline and encourages trying to mix it up a little to your plants needs. Otherwise just water & some budswell, molasses & budcandy during flowering every other watering

The soil is that easy to use & for me being a complete snob when it comes to what I will smoke these days for I have been spoiled be the TGA crew and their knowledge

And the magazine is the current issue
