growing questions about lighting

ok so during the veg stage and the flowering stage i have to have different lights correct? and if i have to have different lights what kind should i use for each stage? anything else about growing/trimming i should no also?

Depends on what light ur usin. U can use hps all the way through if u want. If ur goin cfl, u want daylight for veg, soft white for flowering in the highest wattage u can get.

u need MH(metal halide) light for veg and HPS(high preasure sodium) for flowering. u can use either whole way through. but thats whats recommended. heres a link u shood check out.

You don't HAVE to use different lights for the 2 stages. If you have a Metal Halide then that is preferable for vegetative growth due to the bluer light (5000+ color temp). High Pressure Sodium lights are a redder cooler temp (2000-2500) and are more efficient for flowering. You can use either all the way through both stages and get a fine product, but MH for veg and HPS for flower nets the best yields
