first time growing here, basic plan is to start indoor and move outdoor in 5 gal buckets, as far as plant selection a mainly indica auto flowering strain with the shortest flowering period I can find seems to make the most sense. I have a lot of questions and any help is appreciated i.e what's the best soil to use watering cycles cloning tips and tricks.

I would use botanicare cocogro. Impossible to over water and allows for a lot of oxygen to the roots.
For the strain, try northern lights. Good Hardy indica strain.
For nutrients I would go organic and amend the soil. If you are not going organic, I would recommend General Hydroponics flora Nova nutes. It's an all in one nutrient and works really well. Remember to flush with straight water 2-3 times in the last week before harvesting.
