growing outdoor help?

umm yes well im growing outdoor and i was wondering if i could just grow it in like the dirt thats in the ground or do i need soil, because its kinda heat when i walk into a store and buy soil....


so if you can help me in anykind of way. please do.

ps i live in ontario canada if that helps any...

if the dirt/soil that you want to plant in is a dark rich soil then it should be good, but otherwise deff invest in some high nutrient potting soil to mix in with the dirt from the ground. and make sure what ever soil you decide to us has a PH of 6.2 - 6.8 and it drains well.

to raise the ph of the soil add lime and for better drainage try perlite or rockks atthe bottum

Do you know if miracle grow potting soil falls in that range of PH?
