growing out of season??

hey i am new to growing and have a pretty simple question!
all thoughts and advice appreciated!

I am planning on growing outdoors, but i have completely missed the growing season. in my area of the world June and July are the only months of the year that have more than 12 hours of daylight. It is October and we are headed towards winter so daylight will be decreasing.

obviously the flowering stage would be triggered as soon as i planted it, i know that my yields would be small but the winter is the only time it rains during the seasons. in June and July there is virtually no rain. in the winter months everything flowers and blooms so my only problem is the light. i wouldn't be able to cover the plants due to it being hidden and far away.

would my yields even be worth it? i am pretty desperate so even if the yields were like 10 grams i would be happy!

thoughts?

I guess it is impossible to grow outdoor when season was over. Anyway you will need the right cycle of growing and you will need to move plant indoor. So you can just start growing indoor... good luck.

It depends on the temperature of your area. If it does not hit freezing temputares you could grow many small plants to up the end yield if everything flowers and blooms in the winter they should be ok smaller but still ok.

Temperature isn't an issue. right now there are 9.5 hours of light a day and by January there should be around 7. Is this enough to encourage flowering ?!?! I know that the plants would be quite small but I got s bunch of seeds

How can you have that short of a day (aka be that far north), and still have decent temps? Greenhouse?

Anyway, yes it will flower, but won't get very large or yield well, so I would recommend starting indoors then making a bunch of clones. You can take a hike with a backpack full of clones...

you need 12/12 for flowing

If you can keep your temps to a MINIMUM of 65 or so, yes, you can still grow.
As you said though, your yields will be dramatically reduced with less than 12 hrs/ day, which I ended up finding out while trying to cut hours and make my last 2 plants finish the same time as the first.
With about 10 hrs/ day for the last 4-5 weeks, I saw about half as much come off of 2 plants (each) as from the first, but I can't put that in stone, as all were different strains, but there was an easily visible difference in the last 2 plants.

why would clones help??? why not sprout a bunch of seeds

sorry for the dumb question. i am a beginner ! ;)
1 seed = 1 plant if planted directly.
1 seed = infinite plants if cloned.

Mostly I'm cheap and don't like to waste. In the conditions described yield will suck, so improve it by making a bunch of clones.
