Hey people. So my first crop of sour diesel will be done in about a month (4th week into flowering). May i just say i only wish i had more of this awesome strain. they've gone through temperature stress and power outages and theyre still kickin ass. I figure to get the THC you gadda give the TLC. (joke drum roll)
Anyway, i got um in a 6X8 space with a 1000w hps, raptor hood, max 6 fan, one ocillating fan and a box fan. growin in soil. did a mix of happy frog and sunshine #4. heard about roots organics and tryin that on some new plants. Got the SD in 5 gallon smart pots, almost 3 feet high and a 2x2 area for each plant. they're like happy little jungles. i havent pruned them, heard good things and bad things about pruning but im just gunna let um grow naturally since its my first time and all.
Just recently spotted some powdery mildue. on one at first, didnt think much of it. now a couple days later each plant has small out breaks on less than half of theyre leafs. (i'de say 90 to 10 ratio of healthy leaf to infected. I'm gunaa pick up some Serinade or perhaps some neem oil and spray the foliage tomorrow. In the meantime, i told my humidifier to not kick on unless its below 30%. (which typically conditions are 78-88 degrees and 45% humidity) I'm gunna spray it before the next night cycle.
I'll have some picks in the next couple days. Any helpful hints and pointers would be most appreciated. Thank you my fellow buzzy brains.
