Growing In The Desert

I have grown 8 footers outdoors in California and some pretty good stuff out doors in Oklahoma.

I am now old and live in Phoenix and I am tired of always trying to find green.

So I am going to start growing this years.

The last frost is a couple of weeks away. We actually have two growing seasons.

What kind of plant/seed should I get. I was hoping if I plant in late Jan I would have something by May?

No way the plants can make it once it hits 120 degrees outside.

Any ideas or thoughts welcome. Thanks in advance

Do you have frost in Phoenix?

You can put plants outside now as long as it's above 40 degrees. I just put 2 out last week, but I vegged them indoors first. They will be induced to flower immediately, and will finish in March.

I put a couple of plants out every month, but it's always above 40 here.

And you can grow some great plants thru the summer as long as they have enough water.
