Growing in Japan and laws

Hi, I just registered to reply to this thread...

Firstly, there are a lot of smokers in Japan, both native and foreign.
Secondly, it grows wild(!) in the Northern parts. Cops are waiting to bust people who try to pick it though.
Thirdly, growing by yourself is probably the best option. Those of us that do grow, keep it very, very hush-hush. If you are not a total idiot, you have a good chance of not going to Japanese prison.
You can make some very good money selling it, but thats not what I choose to do.

If you're in a big city (ie. Tokyo, Osaka etc) then you shouldn't have any problem getting some weed. Will post some more when I get home...

get caught growing in japan and expect to get kicked out of the country, or go to jail for the rest of your life. i dont recommend it.

5-7 depending on size of grow, deportation immediately after sentence served and 10 years, if not life ban on entering Japan.
Simple possession of any amount: 5 years and the above.

what you should do is find a japanese girl what smokes and try to get some fine japanese ass. then if she trusts you enough to let you put your penis in her, she will trust you enough to sell you pot or introduce you to her dealer and if by chance yous 2 are girls, find some small jap penis

Well first off Fukuoka. hmmmm You might want to get some cash out and go hit up some of the SNacks. Don't be a cheap fucker either coz it will get you no where. I ran a bar for a friend from Fukuoka and WOW danko fo sho!!

If you want to grow use your friggin brain. Small and stealth and be a greedy fuck and horde it all. I think you should goto the local farm islands to the south and eat a bunch of shrooms. They will make you apranoid as ape shit which is good because you will keep YOUR stash locked up tighter than a (Think of some rude vulgar saying to throw in here! Don't want to get banned) LOL.

The biggest problem with people in Japan is spreading the love. I love sharing but that is with my Pitbull and friend. Notice the friend is not plural so that means that there is only one who gets in on the fun.

I must admit there is nothing better than getting stoned and going to the Arcade and the 4D movies then hittin up the peace pipe and head to an izakaya and then off to a club for some punnanny!!

Made me laugh, man, thats who we can get it from as a last resort in my small town in america too. Bowls as well. And they own all of our liquor stores so they pretty much have vice covered around here. Just thought that was interesting.

Call this a crazy thread revival...but i wonder if any of these guys were successful. I might be moving to japan in the near future...and i wonder if anyone would ask weird questions if i shipped all my equipment to myself there.

Sounds like he/she should just make some friends. Herb is not as uncommon as you'd think in japan but it is a quiet business due to the harsh sentencing. I think that if I were in Japan for some duration I would put my energies into finding a sex partner first, everything else will fall into place.

Thanks ISK! Japan had to be one of the first things I looked up on here. I am interested in the evolving wold view of cannabis, and enjoy seeing people come up with creative solutions to complicated problems.. I was actually hoping to see some grow rooms in Japan!

Japan was, like most major human populations, until relatively recently hugely reliant on cannabis for self sustenance. As a culture, they are only just beginning to reexamine how closely their roots, both spiritual, and material, were to the propagation of this plant. I am ultimately hoping they can can "catch the wave" of the positive medical and sociopolitical changes in marijuana law globally. I would love to learn more about the strains and cultivation methods they have developed in the last 75 years since "prohibition."
