Growing in Alabama

A friend of mine is interested in growing a plant or two for medical reasons, but he is weary of the punishment for getting caught, especially in a state like Alabama. He only wants to grow a plant or two, but according to NORML's website cultivating any amount under 2.2lbs results a minimum mandatory sentence of 3 years in jail.

Is this information correct, and would it apply to such a small amount of plants? Does anyone know anyone in Alabama who has been caught growing a few plants? What happened?

Any information is appreciated. :peace:

You wont get caught unless your stupid and violate the rules of growing.
Rule #1 DONT TELL ANYONE
Rule #2 DONT TELL ANYONE
Rule #3 DONT TELL ANYONE

You are talking inside growing right?

Yep, the growing would be done inside.

I understand not to tell a soul, but to say that you won't at least possibly get caught even if you don't tell anyone is a bit extreme.

Still though, does anyone know of the real world punishment for growing a couple plants in Alabama. A three year jail sentence for a pot plant or two hardly seems worth the risk.

Anything is possible ballplaya but your right...3 yrs is rough for a plant. Thats the chance we take. I'd like for someone from Alabama to add their .02 just for piece of mind.
