Yeah... dry dirt in Colorado = need a freakin jackhammer.

Dude grew 2 strains... and I can't recall the other one. But one of them smelled like roadkill skunk in a ripe dumpster ... along about September.... Really wasn't too bad but caught whiffs when in the yard... maybe 50' away.

Just a small update had a accident in greenhouse plant got smashed
I'm lucky to have taken clones over a month ago now there taking her place but should still get a good grow cycle as its still
May and on a lighter note I looked into some info on outdoor growing pd over here said as long as its out of sight and greenhouse is locked and you're following the plant count no problem

Small update
The greenhouse grow is going well,we made a small transition
I was planning on putting plants into the ground
but we're going to keep these in pots.
I find it easier to move these around
I hope i haven't started plating these
other small plants to late as there in a earthbox
I hope to get good results using these.
Also the really big plant is in a i believe a 40 gallon
container so i hope to get good yield if i can keep
damn pincher bugs at bay peace >>>>>

Hi trueno i haven't put our thermomiter in the greenhouse

Back the top tarp so no hot air sticks around last summer it
Got 117 in there plant seemed to do very well even during
Flower but its good to have good venting cause this summer
Is going to be hot

I hit 144 as my high, double layer of plastic plus the swamp cooler, its down in the 90's, but if my indoor room hit that temp i would shit! So far so good, but i am new to this greenhouse thing.

@trueno
Dang 144 on temps what mill plastic do you use ?
I use 4 and 6 mill but I pull down the top during day
So heat doesn't stick around
This whole greenhouse thing has been pretty cool
Id rather grow outdoor then indoor as its set and forget
Most days the only problems I've had so far are damn
Pincher bugs and a small snake that scared the living out of
Me can you post some pics of your greenhouse?

I used greenhouse plastic, 6 mil, but shit is basically bullet proof. I had the roof sealed, and only an opening in the side plastic to vent out of when i hit the 144, but was monitoring temps to understand how things were going to work. Now i have a single roof vent, 24x24 approx, and a 3200 cfm (i believe) swamp cooler keeping things in check. I am going to build a thermostat for it this weekend, as i am out of funds for this project and can't afford a cooling line voltage thermostat. Luckily i have stuff laying around and a decent understanding of electrical contactors etc, so i have a plan on how to make one with only what i have laying around.
Here is a pic, not much going on inside yet, going to put some large plants out shortly, just making sure everything is dialed in first.

Nice workmanship on the greenhouse T, looks great. Also see you have a door entry from the house, that's killer.

Very nice true! I am jealous lol. Building myself one now with six mil poly. Umm yeah its a hell of a lot more ghetto lookin than yours lol. Wonder how many greenhouse grows we got going here? Hmmm maybe we need a greenhouse grow thread or we could use this? Wow 144 ! Kinda re thinkin this greenhouse biz now lol but got too much time and money in it now, its almost done. Good job man.

I got a killer price on the plastic, although 14x100 is the smallest piece they offer..... If you ever need anything let me know, this is my first greenhouse, but i learned a lot, and so far almost all of my plans have worked out very well. The plastic was even strong enough that when i pulled it tight and attached everywhere, it made the frame more stable.
Thanks bubba, that door was the reason why i wanted this so bad, makes for a 10' tall section, access from the house, which means i go out there a lot! This was also because of the possibility for the law to state that the plants had to be inside the house, not in a separate building. I built it with 4 walls, so i did not have to permit it for being an addition to the house, and at 120 sq ft, no permit was needed as a separate building. So i got the best of both worlds, no permitting, and clearance on basically any laws that may arise. With the 2 layers of plastic, unless the plant is touching the plastic, you cannot see what it is inside. Still probably 80% light transmission.
The best part was including the swamp cooler i am right about $500 into this. Hopefully, if i can keep the roof on through the snow, this will last me at least 4 years with out having to fix anything (except maybe a 2nd swamp cooler.

Damn T! That greenhouse looks great! You've got loads of room in there. I see some serious trees in your future ...
