growing different strains with same reservoir

Hi

New to growing and still in my planning stages but looking to get as much info beforehand as possible.

My gf and I would like to grow 2-3 different strains to suit our different needs and tastes but from reading around I have found this might be a problem using the system we are using.

I have decided to go with a IWS Bubbler System for my walking wardrobe setup and wanted to know the problems I would face when growing different strains attached to the same reservoir?

I thank you for any help you can provide as I couldn't find this in the 101 questions already asked

Koncept

It will take some experimenting but it can be done. You will want strains that have similar growing characteristics, particularly flowering times and nute uptake. I run a cheese and a Lemon OG together as they are both about 9 week finishers and seem to like the same amount of food. In another system I run SAGE and WW x BB as they have very similar requirement. Works out well for me, but if you choose ladies that don't mature at the same rate you can run into issues as one will still want more food while the other will be ripe for flushing.

Good luck, nothing like growing your own fresh Dank!

Excellent, I thought this might be the case and having been searching the web for a strain each that have similar charecteristics .
So far we are both looking at 70% Sativa's and think we like the looks of tangie when it becomes avalible and g13 labs Cinderella 99.

I'd imagine because of the system I have chosen flushing plants that have a different flowering time would be a problem

Ive done it but it can b a challange.. so u want plants that have the same flowering time it could b tricky cause some plants like heavy nutes and the other migt not like heavy nutes.. and flowering times could b off a bit because u might have the longer flowering pheno.
But its not a big deal just start timing the flush just right cause u might get amber on one and cloudy on the other.
But it can b done.
