growing autoflowering dawrfs outisde, greenhouse in fl

Im planning on growing some autoflowering strains in a greenhouse in central florida. this will be my first outdoor grow and i was just looking for some advice on what strians are the best for me. I want to yield enough for a years supply so I think that im going for 25 females and about 4 or 5 different strians. also when is the best time to plant these outdoors? and do they take longer to finish outdoors? thanks

well I dont know much about autoflowering plants
but I can help you with the greenhouse question.

if you had a greenhouse in florida I think you could grow all year around
if im not mistaken, I wouldent think the temps would get that low at night
and I think autoflowering plants are mostly made for outdoor growing, agane if im not mistaken,

thanks willie, I think that im gonna go ahead and try about 5 plants in a greenhouse now, its kinda cold at night but i think that the greenhouse will provide addiqute insolation. also i was thinking this summer go with some autoflowering strians that will finish quicker. and maybe a haze variatey that will take a long time to finsh. and suggestions on the haze varitey?

The only AF Haze I know of is dutchbreed.com short term amnesia and they cant take credit card orders from the US right now so I cant order them. Been waiting for them to get a replacment for paypal for like a month now. I've got auto kush growing right now which isnt a great yielder, ive grown the the auto-ak 47 which yields and smokes really well. The other stuff was out of a mixed pack so I dont know what was what but I can guess. They all yielded about 12-20 grams dry per plant varying by strain. I never got a full ounce off of one plant yet but it may be possible with the ak-47 we'll see shortly since I started a new batch of those.

thanks for the info orgelung, were you growing inside or outside? also i was thinking of going with a traditonal plant for the haze since i will harvest the autoflowering plants earlier in the season ill have enough stash to wait until prime time to harvest the haze.

I pulled this from another forum concerning auto flowering and strains. This guy seems to be suffering from pain and I figured that was a good motivation for truthfulness in his info. Take it for what it's worth, ur choice.

there are only 3 true bred autoflowering strains out there - lowryder, masterlow, and powerstout... the rest are mistakes or unstable crosses that will have a percentage of the seed stock that autoflower and some that don't

i smoke medically for pain and powerstout was absolutely useless to me... it will get you stoned if you're just looking for recreational bud, but for all serious purposes i would say stay away from the AF plants."

the only way is to find out urself. grow a couple, the only thing with autoflowering strains is that it pretty much goes into flowering less than a month into growing. so ur not gunna get a big yield from them. but a haze or any normal flowering plant will give u a lott of buds

Well, I can tell you from experience that I grew reclining Buddha in Florida winter and got great results. I think you could go with any of the smaller indoor strains like a Buddha. They don't want to get huge anyways.
Don't put them in anything bigger than a 1 gal. Anything more I figure ur just wasting dirt and fert.
I keep the top inch of pots filled with small pebbles. Weed doesn't put roots in the top of the soil so this helps with drainage and from winds, and weeds (the bad kind).

Florida has tons of sunlight in the winter, you should have no problems other than an occasional frost, but that's for anything so... so good luck!!
