Grow Tube - Part Deux

And now, the result of 103 days of work. The bud is cut, and the weigh is done. 75 wet grams of bud from the second cut. Based upon the 1st bud's drying weight, this should come out to 20 grams dry for a grand total of 35 grams of dry bud.

Some don't care for the gram/watt measure, so I will call it grams/fixture watt. That came out to about 0.45 gram/fixture watt. A good result. But the goal was to show good results in a cheap, stealthy, low watt setup. For some situations, this tube fits the bill. A few have mentioned they may like to try this out themselves. Feel free to message me if you do try this, and have any issues.

I will update this thread on actual cured weight weight an smoke report. Some expressed an interest in watching my next grow of jock horror, so I will update with that link later. I'm going to try to reveg the girl, I'd like to hold to her genes for a bit longer. I'll include that link too for anyone that wants to watch a reveg attempt.

Holy sweet shit! From reading and watching this grow journal i think i might use a grow tube ive always been intersted in them. It is amazing you pulled that off with 2 CFLs.

it was 3 cfl's, 3 26w, good luck if you try a tube, feel free to post a message on your experience

I was planning on using 2-3 42watt 6500k CFLs i only have one problem, i am restricted in hight for the only place i could grow so i dont know what to do. I am a very paranoid so the only discrete place i have is 1 1/2 feet tall. So i would have to restrict root space and use some LST.

Being paranoid is a tendency of someone to be excessively irratipnal or suspicous/distrustful of others. Like my plant could be hidden very well, but i still have nagging feeling in my head that someone knows or will gind out. Which is why i decide not to use a pc grow box. Thing would go through my mind like "what if someone trys usimg the computer to find out it is a grow box". Stuff like that. My current spot is amazing except a few light leaks which ill fix, and a power cord that is partially visible. Its also hard to get to when water/checking my plants. But on the right subject i had a question where could you put cans on a tube? As for when i start my plant i will probally flower her early

ahh, much clearer
i put a pc case fan near the top on the inside of the tube, exhausted the warm air outside
had to adjust the hole i used for vent, 3 inches worked good in the end

sorry for noob-ness but i never knew or was told about SCROG so i will probally do that, it coupd work out fantastic. Because i have like 3feat for width so i can just prop up a screen an run my plant through, but can you top a plant with scrog?

seems like you could top, but never did SCROG myself, could work in your grow space
