Grow Tent

I'm setting up a grow in my closet with one of those grow tents you can buy for 90 bucks or so. Would it be wise for me to cover the entire tent with tin foil or leave it as is? Also I have White Widdow seeds, if its unwise to grow that the way im doing it please let me know now as they were expensive to purchase! Thanks, your local newb.

DON'T use tin foil. not only is it inefficient, but it will also create hotspots that can burn your plants. Use mylar, foylon, panda film, white paint, or even white printer paper. if you're on a budget, white printer paper reflects fairly well and is everywhere :P. shouldnt the grow tent already has the stuff lined in it since you paid $90 for it?! in the future, it's probably cheaper to build your own from materials (if you have the time) than you buy a grow tent.

do you know what you're going to do for lights, ventilation, and all that jazz?

A grow tent should come outfitted with reflective material on the inside, if it doesn't, I wouldn't use tin foil for relection. Tin foil isn't very effective (incorrect placement of tin foil will produce hot-spots as well), if it gets wrinkled it's reflectivity goes down to approximately 10%. I would suggest dropping some coin on mylar or even black-and-white poly, the reflective propertie of both are better and they will last longer. Poly is a little easier to clean than mylar, but I'm sure if you asked around you'd find mylar to be much more popular amoungst growers. Good luck mate
