Grow Tent question

I have a 4 x 4 tent. Every time I want to water my plants I have to take every one of them out individually and water them outside because of how messy the runoff can get. For any of you who have a grow tent. if you water by hand instead of a drip system. Is this what you do as well? are you taking every plant out and watering them and then putting them back in the tent or are you just watering them inside the tent? my tent doesn't have a back door opening so it's impossible to reach over and water the ones in the back. I have ten 3 gallon pots and it gets to be pretty tiring especially after a day of work. I just want to know if anybody else has a grow tent and Waters their plants in this way. Any tips?

put a tray under or dish

water as unseal

but drain the dish after 10 minutes

or water often with less

good luck

I have a flood and drain table by bontanicare with just a drain fitting at the lowest point with a small rubbermaid tote to catch the runoff. I built a frame for the table out of 3 2×6×8' boards and used cedar door shims to angle the whole table slightly into one corner where the drain plug is.
I use it for my 5×5 tent with 14 plants in coco on a dripper system 2x per day with 15% runoff each. Its really easy and cheap to set up(under $200 for res, pump, dripper equipment, lumber and the table) and its hassle free once its all going. Before the plants get big enough, I feed them 2 at a time in a propagation tray to catch runoff. Its a pain in the ass so depending on how many plants your doing and how long you intend to grow its well worth the investment dude.

I put pans under each bucket and then use a shop-vac to suck out the extra water. If you have fungus gnats you can bottom water straight into the pans.
