Grow tent precautions?

Whats up guys?


So I ordered a 4x2x5 grow tent off ebay a few nights ago and was wondering if there were any common mistakes or issues amongst inexperienced people like myself. I undestand all the inner workings. Lights,ventilation etc.. and the basic assembly of the tent seems pretty straight forward. My concerns are in the installation of the lights etc.. its not a very large tent and idealy ill have it sectioned in halves. With no specific lighting mounts or air duct cables im beginning to worry about the logistics of it all. In my head i just imagine hoses and cords running everywhere and a light and ventilation system thats barely in tact and dangling from what little framework the tent has to work with. Kinda sketching me out.
If anyone has any helpful tips or suggestions that might save me some troubles and headache i would be greatly appreciative.

kind of small to have that thing sectioned into 2 parts. i would just run autos or run 2 photoperiod plants in it.

What kind and what power of lighting will you be using? That has much to do with the matching ancillary equipment you'll need.

I agree the size is small and i still havent decided on that for sure bt i i do decide to split it the autos is a good idea.

Im going to be trying out "Supergrowled's" halo model LED. just 25 w so ill be getting more than one but cant afford them all at once. Im not really against HID's, i can manage a low wattage system with minimal cooling but i figured if i could get the same results from the LED's it would be more cost effective in the long run. and my power bills kinda high as it is.
This will be only my second grow. i started a seed from a bag of funky business i had under cfls in my closet. first in Mirracle grow then wised up and switched to peat moss and perlite but didnt have really good nutes. still not satisfied i made a 5 gal DWC and invested in FF grow big and tiger bloom. ill be havesting her friday i hope to start another immediately after in my new tent with better lights and a more complete nutrient regiment. ive had surprisingly good results in the closet with the cfl's and its only made me want to push it even further.
