Idk if it’s too late too help man but you gotta run your fan so the air is pushed out the tent.
The white can that says hyrdo is the carbon filter. The next black thing is the exhaust fan. It PULLS air through the filter and PUSHES it out of the tent.
See how my ducting runs out the top? It runs to a window that’s right next to the tent. You could set yours up the same and just let it sit on the floor or a shelf next to your tent.
The negative pressure the other dude mentioned basically means you’re making a small vacuum (?) in your tent. It’s causes fresh air to be pulled IN without a fan because of air flowing out of the exhaust fan.

My filter was INSIDE under SUCTION blowing out of the TOP of the tent. The damn thing felt like it was going to implode in to a singularity. No one could smell a thing.

My tent gets far too windy if i turn my fan up, getting the right speed for a filter and not to stress my plants is high on my list. One time anything near the fan was getting sucked through, loose leaves, a tea towel, light hangings. Such fond memories of stupid stuff only i and a handfull of plants ever witness.

I'm confused plz speak to me in noobie lol
Run the duct from the fan outside the tent. (open the air intake flaps at the bottom)
Carbon filter will take care of 97% of the smell give or take.
Run a dehumidifier in your basement, keep it under 45%.
That is as n00b as i can word it.
