Grow tent finally arrived

Hey guys my grow tent from amazon finally got here. It the 24x48x60 tent and i got it half way running with 3 cfl's, 1 two tube 24" FL, 1 fan to circulate the air, 1 fan for air intake and 1 STRONG pc fan for the exhaust. I will post pics later and hopefully my MH/HPS light will hurry up and get here

cool man glad to see it coming together for you how many plants u going to put in it. When u add your mh/hps keep a close watch on your temps since they put off more heat

right now i have 3 in it, but as soon as my other seeds are ready there all going on

hows the germing going hope u got tap roots on all of them and they all end up females

Get ready for 3 months of waiting - Seriously, the hardest part of growing for someone starting up is having to wait for things to happen. Some of the tents are really nice, completely light tight with good ventilation support. My flowering room (Chamber) is about the same size 2x4x7', so a little taller. It runs 2x430w son agro HPS lights nad the buds are killer - but lots of ventilation and moving air around...Enjoy and welcome to a rewarding past time. Good luck. What r your genetics? BTW, the PC fans (even STRONG ones) will die - some slowly (losing RPMs) others fast (within a month or two) - consider replacing with a blower - much, much better. Active air has a few low CFM blowers as do others.

hey bud, first off nice name, lol...yeah i know waiting in the hard part but its well worth it...yeah i like this tent, the ventilation is kinda hard with this one, theres 2 ports in the top left and one in the bottom left....I have the one on the "roof" as the vent out, the one on the bottom left as the fresh air in and the other one in the top left just to shove my cords through....I did order a 400W mh/hps light and i cant wait for that to get here...genetics are unknown right now...i got some bag seed from some nice nuggets i picked up a little while and thats whats growing now. Im getting ready to order some more online though... im sure the pc fans will die, and i will def check out a blower system in the near future but i cant talk the wife into letting me spend anymore money on this project right now...so far i got the tent, shit ton of cfl's with the kits to plug them in individually, a T12 FL bulb ballast with bulbs seperate, 4 fans, the MH/hps light, carbon filter, soil and nutes...etc...you get the idea...oh and everything i needed to run a dedicated circuit to my closet...i will post pics once i get it looking a little cleaner, just wanted to get it in there so the plants had a permanent home..where did you get your hps lights at? and where do you order your seeds from?

did u put them in soil or whatever medium u r using yet

nah, i am going to try the soil here soon. But for now scince i was in a hurry to have these plants stay as close in age with the ones i already have i just did the paper towel method agian..a little diffrent thought...I read someones post, he said hed been growing for like 30 plus years and everytime he takes 2 paper towels on plate and drenches them with like a full bottle of water, waits 10 minutes so its all absorbed because after all, it is made from wood, runs the excess off, then puts the seeds down with a dry paper towel on top of them and mats the dry towel down to make it wet...ziploc bag, garage shelf, Wah-lah

Bought my lights 8 years ago so don't remember where, somewhere online like the HydroHut. Just decide on the config you want then shop it - obviously. I get my best genetics from a grower in Holland that I know but I have bought online from Attitude seeds, I also tried Sensible seeds but they are absolutely terrible - recommend NOT using them. I ordered from Hemp Depot a few years ago without issue. The problem with bag seeds is they are usually outdoor genetics which means you will get a pretty shitty plant - maybe you'll have better experience but I learned early on don't waste your time on bag seed. You probably have to learn that yourself, at least you have seeds to get going and test things out. Not sure where you are using the fans? Are they pulling air in or pushing air out? An imbalance in pressure (within the tent) will cause the fans to become considerably less efficient and will shorten their life dramatically. You next investment should be a blower to replace the axial fans - then better genetics. Try Seedbay, chances are you'll get something better then the bag seeds and cheap (5-$10).
There is nothing like the first harvest, it makes all the pain and expense worth it - especially after you can fire one up and say damn - that is the shit! - Welcome to the club....

yeah man i def. plan on getting a blower next. I was checking some out online last night actually. like a 4" 165-180 cfm. i found a few for like 40 bucks..seedbay, never heard of them but i will check into it...thanks for your help bro
