grow room rookie needs advise

go to the FAQS on the top right of the page. it answers all that you ask.

i know where to look for the answers but i wont know how accurate they might be.so i wanted people that have similar grow rooms to help me out with things like the best soil to use for kush plants and what nutrients would help from ure guys experience.

Absolutely not. your room is 10 foot high??? and it's roughly 10x10, that's perfect for a single 1kw hps. Props to you for trying to plan before sprouting, that's better than most rookies. I'll second the referral to the faq, though.

the 90 watt ufo's are good for grow boxes from what i've read here.... anyways that's a pretty big grow room, 100 square feet... you would need a LOT of light... the 1000 watt hps is probably ur best bet to get enough light... if you want that many plant's ull also need a lot of soil, and a lot of nutes, and a lot of everything... good luck...

for the veggie period i was thinking of saving power until its time to flower i just wanted to know if it was possible to use 2=8 band lights to help for the first month of vegging and do any of you use a dripper system with ure soil grow. is it worth the savings buying the 2 8 band that will cost me 440 or is it better to just use the 1000 watt to start.thanks for the reply's
