grow room heat issues.. help

so I'm running my tent, but I'm no longer running it indoors per say.. the room I use to run it in was a bedroom with solid temps cold enough during summer and warm enough during winter. i have both central heating and ac in my home and it helped keep temps inside the tent where I needed them to be. never had an issue with temps. well due to some circumstances I kind of have to run it outdoors but it is under a carport in my backyard with doors so it is still concealed from prying neighbor eyes lol anyways I can't seem to maintain temps. any tips that might help? and no portable ac is in my reach atm..

tent peaked at 91 yesterday..

the 106 you're seeing is from me hanging the gauge from the glass hing strap on the light fixture to see how hot it was up there. lol where it's at now is somewhat stable 84-86..

these plants are also just testers from some strain i wasn't a really big fan of and I had some cuts of.

the fan inside the tent is obv. my exhaust and it's open ended on the left side of the light fixture to pull air out of the tent through the light through the the ducting then fan and out the tent where my phresh filter is.. would bring my filter inside and pulling through it aid anyway in temps?

I've always ran it like this.. but I guess it's time for change..

I also have a dimmable ballast for my 1k bulb should I just dim her to 750 watts?

I've been doing a lot of reading about this. Is your air venting back into your room? If it is, you should find a way to get it outside, or into a room with a better cooling system. you can get the smell out, but if its in the same room as intake then you're pretty much just recycling hot air.

Or you can dim your ballast

Also, do you have some other type of airflow in there? like a fan? Put a gentle breeze in there.

no other fan in the grow tent and I wouldn't even be able to vent the air out into another room.. besides I doubt it's an issue could be but I doubt it because the size of the carport the tent is in is like a 30x20 carport. it's a good size and it is outdoor and has a lot of ventilation so fresh air is constantly breezing in through there.

I would hate to dim my light though..

Like that other user said it sounds like you are heating up the air in the tent and then dumping it in the carport. And the tent is pulling warm air that you just exhausted and the cycle repeats. You need to find a way to get that heat out and away while bringing in fresh air. What are the temps outside of the carport? That 1000 watt bulb is generating like 3500 BTU , you must deal with that heat. Also bear in mind that neither the tent or the carport are properly built or insulated.

Is the Outdoor temps are reasonable around where you live then you should take the intake blower and set it up so that it's exhausting the carport. If the carport has as much ventilation as you say it has, then that blower will serve to pull in fresh air from outside. The tent will be fine with just a passive intake.

I don't grow in a room with windows. I have to vent it through the ceiling with a damper and y split into my bathroom fan exhauster which leads out of the house. I got a 6 inch active air pulling through my carbon filter in the tent. A duct booster fan in the roof to keep up the air flow as it travels across about 25 feet to the outside. Crazy, but effective.

Recycling that old air over and over without efficient, reliable and consistent fresh air. It's gonna be a long summer of heat stricken plants.

you need negative pressure in the tent u have positive hence the ballooning you want the sides to suck in slightly also if your pullin in 70 to 80 f then it can be no lower than that in the tent and the lights will add some heat no matter how much air you got pulling through
you need to find a way to get the intake air cooler or place an ac unit in the tent

Can you run a tube from your house into your intake in your tent to bring in cool air also add some flex tube to your out take away from your tent but if it's hot outside ain't much you can do
