grow lights

im thinking of buying a new grow light about 300 watts iv been looking on the internet and come across thease energy bulbs that dont need a ballast,iv seen a 300 watt dual spectrum,are thease anygood or would i just be wasteing my money any help would be greatfull

what kind of bulbs? post a link. Most probably just be wasting your money though. Any good bulb whether it be hid or flourescent require ballasts.
