it all depends bud. How big of pots you want to use. how long you veg for. When you build your box accout for the height of the pot and distance from the light to the plant. Thats almost 2-3 feet. A 3lx3wx5h will do you justice. Look into LST and topping methods.
3x3 is way too big for 150w.

i Hope you have some spare cash cause can be pricey. LIGHT,SEEDS, THERMOMETER/HYGROMETER,CARBON FILTER,INLINE FAN,SOIL,NUTES,PH METER,PH UP,PH DOWN,POTS,MYLAR/PAINT,GROW TENT cause its cheaper to just by the tent then it is to build a box. Trust me my first mistake spentover 200 on meterials and could of got a tent cheaper. But i got pleanty of fire wood after this grow....lol Do some research.

your right i was thinking of a 250Watt. I def wouldnt grow in a 1x2 box though its gonna get clutered. 150=2sq ft 250=4sq ft 400=9sq feet of coverage.ya ya ya Build the box a little bigger.
400/9 is pretty minimal at around 42w/sq ft that is like a minimal lighting situation... 100w / sq ft is what I figure for nice hard well lit fatty nugs buds and good light penetration.

I got a small hydro op going (first run) and im in the last week of veg (18/6). I have some of my top leaves curling down all of a sudden (see pics). Im running a 1k
MH on a 6' track about 3' from plants. I water 5 times daily at even intervals (about every 4.5 hrs). pH is @ 5.6-5.9 and tds is @ 950 ppm. My temp in the room is
between 70F low to about 83F high give or take a degree or two. 30-35% RH. I have 650 cfm in and 800 cfm out (no co2 supplement) Im using general hydroponics
nutrient @ a 3-2-1 ratio and running half strength liquid carbo load. Root/reservoir temp is about 60-65F. Am I over/under watering? light too close? too cold?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

this is called hijacking a thread... post in your own thread dimwit. and you're over-watering. nice mix, overwatered. RH is too low. put a plate of water or something nearby.

Sorry man, didn't mean to piss in your rice crispies. Im new here so my apologies. I appreciate your attempt in letting me know how stupid i am though, it really helps.
When I saw your post hijack was wrote all over it.
Doing a 3x6x8 find you a table and you veg upstairs and flower down below. What do you guys think about 3x6x4 with a 400 watt with interchangeable mh and hps.
