Grow Light Help

Okay, i am currently growing 6 female plants ordered from nirvana, a quick review of nirvana, they were quick (the seeds got here in about 5 days) and were very discrete. i order 5 white widow plants and 5 black berry feminized

if anyone has any reviews of these strains that would be great.

anyway, i currently have 3 WW and 3 BB growing in my closet, growing under 9 CFL's and 2 grow lights from walmart (which are questionable) i think i calculated it out to 30,000 lumens total

first question is, i was told that the sun burns around 10,00 lumens per square foot on a sunny day (high noon maybe)

but i also heard that 1000-3000 lumens per square foot was adequate lighting for indoor growing

id like this to be finalized so i know what i am dealing with

also, we are looking to "renovate" the plants habitat in order to make it a better growing area (i did the best i could, small fan and they arnt getting a very good amount of fresh air, but thats why im trying to fix it lol)

one side will be for flowering and one side will be for vegging doing a sort of mini SOG

my main question is, what type of wattage should i use for each side

doing some research has lead me to believe that MH lights are greater in the blue spectrum which is good for veg and overall leaf growth and less on the stem growth, making them more condensed and the HPS lights are good for flowering, with a higher intensity in the res spectrum, which helps the plant to flower on a hormone level. (i hope that that is all correct)

so if someone could point me in the right direction, 6 plants will be growing in 9"x9" pots (3 gallons in think havent bought them yet) and will not be spaced apart.

would a 175 watt MH be good for this setup?
what should i be looking for?
where should i order online (prices, trustworthyness)
any other information that may be relevant

thanks in advanced, i hope i gave enough information

I'm growing six (Well, two turned out to be males... so four now) under 4x Tube-Flourescent lights. I liked this because bulbs were cheap, and you can swap the different kelvin rating bulbs for vegging or flowering.

I don't see many people worry about lumens per square foot, but perhaps someone will differ from me.

What's Nirvana's website?

well the only real reason i am redoing everything is cause my plants are severely stunted in growth, they are almost 2 months old now and still look 3-4 weeks old about 8" high i decided i would go with CFL's because of cost, but its just not working for them, plus they had a nitrogen deficiency (i think i diagnosed them properly) so i started them on an organic fert rich with nitrogen, and i found out later on that the soil i got sucks, lol so im looking at a complete renovation of the grow area, this is going to permanent and is only being used for my aunt who has her license, but she is constantly spending an overwhelming amount of bus so iv decided to start a mini SOG, to hopefully get her a good amount of bus once a month. at first my plants were stretching, so i added the two grow lights from walmart that burn a cool blue.. but who knows if they are even for real...but ignorance is bliss is suppose, so thats why im chaning the lights, might as well upgrade EVERYTHING right?
