It looks like the camera only picked up the heat through the windows. I thought the heat sig showed through walls and the roof too. Sucks to be those guys, I hope they find that snitch

Well, from what I read in the article and saw in the video the police stated they used FLIR prior to getting a warrant... in fact they say using FLIR helped them get a warrant.


If they get a good lawyer they may be able to get the case dropped based on the Supreme Court decision in the Kyllo vs. United States. FLIR without a warrant FIRST constitutes and illegal search.

Um actually it's a seperate warrant to do the IR scan... which could lead to a warrant to raid the house..

Supplying a county includes kids in school. Grow your own - Smoke your own. Let everyone else worry about themselves except close friends of course.

Well I wasn't talking about kids in school..... please don't put words in my mouth!

I took your post to be somewhat satirical in nature as 204 plants would not in fact supply a whole County.... and I responded as such. I stand by what I posted.

My most sincere apologies, it was my assumption that kids do in fact live in a county and do tend to search for marijuana.

My post was not satirical by any means. 204 plants could easily supply a county of small size (such as my own).

My sincerest apologies as well.... I've never lived in a County that small.... so I didn't relate. I certainly don't condone the sale of pot, alcohol or any other drugs to kids. :peace:

Okay, now can someone please tell me how the fuck we are all going to properly insulate rooms to stay off of that fucking helicopter radar? I guess we all need good effective advice to protect our investments and livelyhoods...where are all you professionals who are willing, knowlegable and can positively tackle this challenge??? Then how are we going to tests it's effectiveness? We HAVE to stay one-step ahead....
