Grow bulbs!!??

What's up guys. I replaced my hortilux with cheapos. Idk why I did it. Some guys replace every grow.i ran hortilux for the last 7 years with great results. Just the price sux. I just figured I'd give the cheapos a shot. Installed them last night. And idk they seem diff.than the hortilux and I also notice they run hotter. Just 3 wks in on this crop I'll see how they produce with these bulbs. Anyone else use the cheapos and replace every grow.

whats $30 a bulb for great product? its not like you have a 60k light room. maybe 3 bulbs lol and they lasted you 7 yrs lol
your first run will be fine, by the 3rd run you will see a difference.
I swaped mine every 3 runs (hortilux)

99% of all bulbs can be ran safely for 3 crops especially with HPS bulbs. I rarely sell Hortilux or any fancy packaged bulbs, 99% of all my customers go with Sylvania HPS or MH and this is guys that get 1.5-2lb per light with no issues.

Running bulbs on digital ballasts will actually produce more light too but if you're room is at max temps they will heat it up more as the ballasts are drving the bulbs much closet to 1000W than standard cap and coil ballasts.

Personally I like ushio,I get the same results as hortilux,but much cheaper.run them for 3-4 crops..

No it's not 3 bulbs lol and I didn't leave them in for 7 years. I've been using hortilux for 7 yrs. switch every 10 months. Get them in the states for 60$. Exchange sux atm. Replacing 16 blows. Maybe not so bad if you only need 3.
