Here is my advice. Buy a cabinet. Paint the inside flat white paint. Cut 2 holes in it. One at the top for out going air and one in the bottom for incoming. Buy a small 2-4 t-5 light or just some cfls. Run a cord into the cabinet and put the appropriate wires in the right places. Timers, small fan for circulation and an exhaust fan by week 8. Save your self hundreds and you can do it in a few hours. To me, 2 hours is worth the savings. Grow either in soil or deep water culture hydro. Grow one plant and low stress train it. Maximize yield. Get probably a tad more than an ounce. I have a 4 1/2 foot by 38 inch cabinet in my closet. Near identical living situation. Has worked good thus far. I have 4 2 foot t-5 bulbs and one cfl added during flower. I get about an ounce and a
Half every 12 weeks. But curing it takes time. And the more time you allow it to cure the better it will taste and the better it will burn. Cure for two weeks or more with a stem in the jar to add moisture back to the buds. I LST starting week 1.
Culture hydro.

Best advise without going and buying wood and all that crap and making it yourself....go online on Amazon.com and look up grow tents. Take the measurement of your grow space and find a tent that fits that space. Make sure that you get a fan for circulation and a thermometer/hydrogemeter. LEDWholesalers, Hydrofarm, and Secret Jardin are 3 big name brands to look for on tents....

They take 15 minutes at most to put together, and same on taking them down. Light proof as well. They already come with reflective mylar on the inside so no need to go and buy anything extra besides fans and lights....and whatever grow material you need depending on if you are doing soil or hydroponics

It's a total rip off imo. I could build one for easily a third of the price if not cheaper. If you got the money and don't have the time though I guess it's ok. Amazon's grow tents are probably a better option though.

That was really cool Uncle Buck I've never seen that before.

I don't live in a MMJ, but I'm curious about something. If you live in a MMJ, but you don't have a card and you get caught growing do you still pretty much get hit with the same punishments that people in non-MMJ states have? Or is it typically just a slap in the wrist?

I just changed over from a homemade wooden grow-box type setup with painted white walls to a grow tent off HTGsupply. Noticed a big difference in how much more easy it is to regulate the temperature and keep light leaks non-existent. The biggest difference i noticed was my harvest went up about 1/2-3//4 an ounce more per plant just from the better reflectivity of the inside of the tent. I can vouch for the durability of the tent so far for the first 6 months of use as well...constant daily use of the zipper and its still doing fine. Anyway, the HTGsupply one is a little more expensive than some of the ones off Amazon. My friend recently purchased a Hydrofarm tent that is smaller than the one I use....it also seems to be top quality. Think his is 22" x 22" x 60"tall and it fits into the back of a small closet with ease and can fit two decent-sized plants.

All comes down to what size closet you are working with really.

I would definitely go with the tent....you are going to be hella limited with that small dinky pc box. you can get way more bang for the buck and keep the temps way better under control with a tent IMO. Tent is cheaper too. I know you aren't trying to turn the whole closet into a tent. You could find an even smaller one than that HTG supply one on Amazon I';m sure if you feel that one is too big. That link you posted includes everything....light, tent, grow bags, nutrients....if you already got any of that stuff then you can mark it off and get away cheaper

Just get a cheap dollar tape measure and measure it out....they tell you how big the tents are in inches
