grow box help

ok im a new grower and i wanna start growing in like small cab like the one in the pic below the only problem is the air movement and the fact that it is a secret grow so i want to hang two fans in the box like the pc fan in the pic below i guess the main problem is that i wont be able to cut holes in the cabinet to have intake and out take so i was wondering would it be ok if during the day while im gone to work i keep the grow box close with the fans on and when i get home open the door to let the air come out until i have to leave for work or will this cause the plant to die ( the door will be open from about 5pm till 6 am)

The temps in your box will roast your plant. Even if you use cfl's the temps will shoot over 100 and could possibly become dangerous. You can just put the exhaust in the back and have the back facing the wall, and no one woul dbe able to tell if done properly with a light trap.

if i can keep the temp down do you think the plants will grow healthy with me opening the door for that amount of time

you NEED ventilation. without it, your plants will not only cook but will suffocate as well. airflow is as important as light and water, i don't know how to put it any simpler.

ok i was thinking about this to knock 3 things down at once ( heat, light leak, smell) how about i cut a square out of the back of the cabinet for the pc fan to sit, cover the pc fan with a small shoe box, cut a hole in the shoe box and put a pipe in the shoe box cover one end of the pipe with a pantyhose and fill the pipe with carbon tell me what you think

Hey man, whatsup? Feel free to check out our grow set up for some inspiration. We grew 3 White Ice's in a 4.5 foot tall cardboard box. Harvest pics too!

Can you put wheels on the bottom somehow? that will raise the bottom and you can use that space for your air in!!
Then you can cut out the back for your scrubber. It sounds like your brain is turning which is good. Keep cumming up with ideas. Look at the box a few different ways. Look at the top, look at the bottom. You will be able to figure it out. You definately need air in and air out.

Good idea, maybe a 4 wheel dolly could work or even a pallet. Also remember that your outtake needs to be about 3 times your intake to be effective at all. I've made this mistake myself. In a small tight box, you can cut passive intakes and have your fans directed outward too.
