Grow Big/Big Bloom? Or Advanced?

Okay, so I'm looking at nutrients like FoxFarm's Grow Big and Big Bloom, or maybe something from Advanced Nutrients (they've got a LOT of basic nutes), trying to decide what I want to get. Part of me is thinking that since I'm basically just wanting to "not fail" at my first hydroponic attempt that it doesn't make a lot of sense to spend a lot of money on nutrients.

On the other hand, I don't want to hobble my chances by going too cheap and buying something that's not going to work as well. There's no such thing as too much success, right? I don't have a "money is no object" budget, but I'm not living on Ramen, either. So I'm sorely tempted to just go all-out and buy some AN stuff like their Grow, Micro, and Bloom or maybe the Sensi Grow & Bloom 2 part. But then there's also the FoxFarm Grow Big/Big Bloom I mentioned before. (And a bunch of other stuff, of course. That's just what I've been going back and forth on recently. Tomorrow, who knows.)

I've been reading and reading and the more I read the more I seem to change my mind back and forth. So I'm asking for help. Anyone have some ideas for pros and cons I should weigh? Personal experiences? Anything? I just don't want to end up with the Grow Big and Big Bloom and then wish I'd gotten the Sensi Grow/Bloom or vice versa. I mean it wouldn't be the end of the world, but I like to be a savvy consumer.

I'd say stick with Advanced nutes, but I'm biased. What's teh worst that could happen? Your plants grow too well?

try botanicare pro line that stuff works real well!

I got foxfarm nutes but im not using hydro. Another friend of mine used them too and they produced excellent results. But then again he used it on all of his grows, so nothing to compare it to. But I can tell you those were tasty on what he did he use it on.

i used FF nutes and it was nothin but trouble with lockout and def
switched to some real nutes and grew me some dank, dank buds

srsly, do urself a favor and go with AN

My water loving friend swears by the sensi 2part from AN. Being a dirt man myself I've just got the 'mother earth super tea' organic 2part from AN... I'll let you know how it works out.

If you have the money their connissuer brand is also meant to be the stuff to get... If it's good enough for Remo and tech Mike it's good enough for me! (I know they work for AN )

Am thinking of switching to water so will be watching your grow

Stay with AN...I love the sensi 2 part
