I'm Shootist. And I'm a refugee from Marihemp Marketplace, which in its day was the end all be all of the scene.
Some people have really put a lot of effort into this site. Very nice.
Well, off to slay some dragons.

Nope, just dragons . . . and windmills.
Marihemp was a series of Cannabis related websites that started in the middle 90's. Very early in Internet history.

Others that my tired old mind cannot remember.
The owner got old. stonerforums.com is what rose from the ashes and the marihemp.com homepage is still there.
Hundreds of thousands of posts over 13 or 14 years. Plenty of MOMs back b4 Fox News ran a story about buying pot online (around 2003).
We mainly busted scammers, told jokes and had a great community of about 40-50 people who had been on the site for 8 years or more. It was really sweet. MOMs from South Africa, the Dam, Belgium, Vancouver and the States used to show up and offer their wares with free samples.

Holy, I know this is an old thread but you are the first person I have seen that I remember from there!! It was a great site, I kind of stopped when it did, tried some other sites but they just was not the same. Fluffy, phillykid, and many others, def the best moms, oh how I miss the good ol days, lol, now I really feel old saying that...
Shootest left three days after he posted the above (in Jan of 2010) & hasn't been back since.
