Greenleaf Medicinal product recall

You can ask them to cancel your contract with them and than get another script and look for another producer but we can't return your documents.

(4) A licensed producer may cancel the registration of a client for a business reason.

(7) A licensed producer who cancels a client’s registration must not return the medical document.

They never cancelled you but they still can't give it back.

118. A licensed producer must not transfer to any person a medical document on the basis of which a client has been registered.

So anything you send me I have to keep forever.

119. A licensed producer must not sell or provide dried marihuana to a client or an individual who is responsible for the client on the basis of a new medical document unless the client or the individual submits to the producer a new registration application that meets the requirements of section 108.
well this seems to be one of the bigger stickling points of the whole deal for those using LP's
this seems completely unnecessary ..... most of us realize what giving up our papers....means...
but i think the main point is HC is trying their best to get as many of these documents that they have issued back or taken out of circulation...
by using the LP returning method....
Hold on to those documents people...they are all you have to prove you were legal....

As I said there was nothing wrong with the actual product, it was all procedural. (Growing pains no pun intended). From my personal experience they are good people trying their best to help everyone out. I've had contact with most of the LP's on a professional level and trust me there are some really arrogant cases out there who think they are gods gift to humanity (setting themselves up for a hard time down the road when more people get exposed to their attitude). GLF are the part of the good guys here.

No Price fixing.. Tweed is has Space bomb and La Confidential listed at $5 per gram.
$4 will be our lowest priced release to start. The whole market is going to level at $4 per gram or cheaper if someone will push further. That to me is good news for the patients. $4 translates to $112 per ounce $1816 per pound.
Great I'll only have to come up with $21,792/yr for my meds. Somehow it just doesn't look as attractive.

I wonder if any of these 150+ gram per day scripts will get filled by some LPs. 30 packages of 150 grams sent out in the mail each month.
I think that that very issue was part of the argument presented in federal court. Basically the patients with extremely large scripts were told that the LP they contacted couldn't supply them with that amount. So even if they had the $$, there is no supply available.

Sorry the only thing you can do is get another script and send that to your next choice. Go see your doctor and explain what happened he should be understanding. You should get your cash back from them.
He/she shouldn't have to go back to their doc for another script. Why don't you get that?

Sure everyone...just run back to your doctor ( or crawl depending on how ill you are ) and have a fuckin tea party with him/her. Then you all can dance around and giggle at all the fun your having getting at what once was already yours to be had.
What a greedy impression it gives to simply say "just go back to your doctor, he will understand"
Fuck-off you greed bags.
Money sucking leeches = LP's

No one takes safe meds more serious that the feds and the licensed producers. Whose greed are you referring to and why? I don't understand?
Now you sound like an HC employee! Stating that the feds and LP's, both involved solely to make huge profits, are more concerned about 'safe meds' (I still want to know what constitutes 'unsafe meds') than the patient or DG is ridiculous. The feds refuse to even recognize cannabis as a medicine and did not once inspect my garden for quality or safety.(Come to think of it, they haven't checked my vegetable garden either!) I don't think they care more about my health than me! The licensed producers are concerned only with profit and bowing down to HC in order to hold on to that license to make money. We've all read the LP 'mission statements' and such, in which they paint themselves as the patients' greatest friend while in reality, you are just another revenue source. If an LP were truly concerned about patients, you would expect they would provide meds for LESS than the black market. GREED!

This should be the main reason for every patient on here to write their local MP and demand the health care system add a DIN to MMJ, if they balk at well HC says it's not medicine then why did you get a doctor script to receive it and why under MMAR did HC have to approve your documents. Also that then there should be research done to finalize what it is then medicine or a placebo. Personally my health care gives me 100% coverage.

if Greenleaf medicinals was only caught for filling out paperwork wrong, why wasn't that just explained, there would have been no reason to stop someone from taking their medication because of paperwork. the only reason they would say don't consume your medication is if there was something wrong with the actual product itself. sounds of cover up.

We can all agree that big pharma is in it for greed, even LP supporters can agree to that...... think about it now ..... what do ya think LP's are trying to become the makers/suppliers of MMJ ..... sounds like big pharma, so yeah woodsman it is all about greed. if it wasn't why are they buying the "so called moldy" bud from DG's and reselling it..... there wouldn't be a court case fighting to keep ppl from growing it themselves (with no inspections ever) ... you would think HC would have inspected at lest the growers that were grow huge amounts every once in awhile.

it really comes down to common sense, I agree with canadan about it seems HC is trying to get all the pink slips back from patients so they can say look we got all these back so it's working!!!! now all patients will use the LP way. So I'm not giving up mine, my Skype doctors office is writing me a script at no charge and down the road they say it will be $75 for a 1 year renewal, not bad I think as some ppl are saying about theirs. I would ask yours greasy if they would write you another, don't request your GLF medicinals to stop as then you will have a choice of two LP's then just watch you don't go over your month/daily script amount

Can you please share the name of your skype doctor please? We(other patients) need help too.

I'll try to call my contact at GLM tomorrow to see what's up, or to see if they are at liberty to discuss at least.

Again I have to agree that they are going to be back and fairly soon , the amounts of investment and time put into the operation is not something you do to make a quick buck and abandon.

There may be absolutely nothing wrong with the actual product people received and the issue is procedural but as a macro control measure they yanked the product just in case. Its all speculation until we hear something official.
John Moeller is the go - to guy at Greenleaf Medicinals. Been really helpful over the last 3 days sending me email indicating that they will have word on whether they can start selling again and will know this by this weekend. There down but not out...yet.

The problem with a DIN is that for something like MMJ literally every strain or iteration would have to have it's own DIN. Unless there is some sort of broad range of THC, CBD concentration that is covered under one DIN etc. This would however bring on more and more regulations not less, so it's a double edged sword. For example for something like Asprin we have:
02150328ASPIRIN 325MG TABLET
02150352ASPIRIN CHILD 80MG TABLET
02150417ASPIRIN ARTHRITIS PAIN RELIEF 325MG TABLET
02150425ASPIRIN ARTHRITIS PAIN RELIEF EXTRA STRENGTH 500MG
02150336ASPIRIN EXTRA STRENGTH 500MG TABLET
02237726ASPIRIN 81MG TABLET
02289970ASPIRIN 81MG QUICK CHEWS
02289350ASPIRIN EXPRESS PACK 500 MG/PACKET GRANULES
