Greenhouse El Nino Smoke Report

Strain: Greenhouse El Nino

Growth: Not an extremely fast grower vertically; I vegged for 30 days and topped twice for a nice 30" bush that was about 2x as big width-wise as a 5-gallon bucket.

Nutes: TGA Subcool Super Soil as well as every 2 weeks some Advanced Nutrients SensiZym, Big Bud, and Nirvana

Yield: 61 grams in 30 days veg + 61 days flower = 91 days total

Difficulty to Trim: 4/10 - took about an hour and a half to trim 61 grams by hand - not a lot of leaves and not tedious work

Bag Appeal: 8.5/10 - a ton of trichomes and light green with grey tint from the THC as well as some dark purple/blue colors in it here and there. Nice light orange, almost yellow hairs. Medium, dense nugs.

Smell: 9/10 Very strong AFTER harvest, not so bad during Flowering. It smells like lemon-mango-grape

Taste: 8.5/10 Slight lemon taste with mango's with a grape aftertaste on exhale

The High: 8.5/10 - Long lasting social buzz with just a couple bowls. This is not for lightweights for sure. If you over indulge, the body high gets VERY strong.

Comments: This one was a joy to grow! Didn't require much special attention aside from the initial pruning of extra fan leaves when I first switched to 12/12 light cycle. Also a very good choice for growers with limited height requirements; this thing stays nice and squat/bushy. No problems with mold even in 80% humidity.
Overall I'd say 8.5/10!

No problem. I gave mine 2.5 gallons subcool super soil and 2 gallons Ferti-Loam brand soil on top in a 5gallon bucket.

Yea, I usually just think of Greenhouse as one of the big guys out to get the money, but at least they have some good genetics. I gotta say that although El Nino was GREAT, I had another one of their seeds, Big Bang....and it seemed watered down....mediocre weed.

Seems like it should be a good strain. May have just been a bad seed; or it just doesn't like my 70% humidity setup. Or it could just be one of the cheapo strains they made. Because I have personally heard nothing but bad stuff about the Automatic Big Bang that they also produce. Some of their strains just aren't grown out long enough to get them stabilized enough---too much variation in the phenotypes. But then as I mentioned with this El Nino review & as jammin screw mentioned above, they do have some good strains nonetheless!
