Ha ha, that's inspired dude! :-D

I get green colouration on my soil tops in veg sometimes when the gap between waterings is long. Particularly from blue light. Not found it to be a problem. Sounds potentially a little more serious in rockwool. Hope you get it sorted.

Tha's normal, it's algae because it's exposed to light, cover it up and you won't have it any more, I use white paper plates cut in half with a hole in the center for the stem, enclosed pic.

When I get it in soil grows I can just break the soil up and it disperses when I next water. Not really possibly with rock wool though. Now I see that the rock wool was just the starting point and it is in a full hydro pot, I can't see the harm in giving it a little scrub. Then cover it to prevent the light getting to it, like DeeTee said.
