green led's for nighttime maintanance?

so anyone know if these things work, the science seems legit. but i didn't want to shell out the money without checking and seeing if anyone else has any experience or advice on the subject.

i though if it was legit, that installing a small green light in a cab with an on off switch would allow me to study the growth cycle of the plant at night as well.
which may seem pointless, but i thought it would be cool.


any opinions, advice?

U know those LED keychains? well.. theres a green one. it costs like 5 dollars. its exactly that without the earpiece.

yeah. before i read asor's comment i was going to say they sell those LED keychains at like radio shack and similar places why not pick one of those up first. its the same thing. you can also pick up the stuff to make your own LED connection at Radio Shack as well. I'd shell out $5-10 for the amusement factor!

ya i was looking at some computer case led lights that would be perfect for illuminating a cabinet/room.

and i was planning on restructuring my space anyways to add some t5 UVB lights so maybe its time for a full re-modeling

i think it will be my next project after this harvest.

i cant wait to watch the plants at night, i bet during the last weeks of veg you can almost watch them grow

I wouldnt be surprised if you could almost watch them grow. some nights i go to bed and wake up and they are like 4" taller than the night before. and Im like "CRAP GOTTA MOVE THE LIGHT UP AGAIN!!!#$#%$#!"

yea. good idea on the computer LED's. they come in strips, so you could hang them on the sides or one big strip around. I think they sell them at the hardware store too. Ive seen them there. they sell it because some people use that LED tube lighting to line their driveways with light. Idk what its called, but I remember seeing it and thinking how cool it would be to hang it around my room. LOL.
