In times passed and in places where it was legal, I made a mean tincture. I always used Ethanol, the best bud I could grow, and simmered it all down to one step away from syrup. Ten drops for migraines. Safe and effective. I never thought of using the clippings from bud prep. Will these work for tincture or will the result be weak and not worth the trouble? Also, what do growers typically do with the clippings? In states where medicinaql use and prep is legal, would growers be interested in selling the clippings wholesale for use in salves and other medicinal applications? Thanks.

I am researching the economics of emerging legal cannabis marketplace. This plant was taken from us by corporate and political A-types who wanted to turn the world into a shopping mall complete with captive shoppers. The Industrial Dark Age outlawed the right to grow, produce and titrate one's own medicinals. The fastest way to defeat the prohibitionists is to create better business models--meaning local, sustainable, and profitable.

Show Middlle Americans the new venture opportunity side of the cannabis revolution and maybe they'll finally stand up like they did when they decided it was in their own self interest to demand action on climate issues.
