Green cannabutter vs golden brown? Which is stronger

Made the first time some butter last/first grow, was 30g popcorn buds and 40g sugar leave trim (after shaking for hash).

Decarb for 20-25min at 115c.

Threw some Butter/Water in a pot and let it cook for 8-10 hours and always add in water after some time, you dont want to get the butter too hot. It should build some little bubbles on the top.

Mine was darkish green and strong af :bigjoint:

haven't made butter in forever, but read an interesting post which at the time made a lot of sense about how you should not use water at all when making butter.

Don’t know what you read, or where you read it.. but it’s fiction ... adding water simply helps flush out more chlorophyll... you should see the color of that water.. it’s dark brown and smells like assholes.. I don’t want that nasty shit in my final product..

I’ve been making cannabutter for 15 yrs and everyone’s comments here make me cringe ... the temps .. the methods .. jesus christ to say the least ..

Y’all MAY BE getting high from what you make .. but it doesn’t mean you’re not fucking it up severely .. sounds to me like TOO MANY of you are decarbing too long or too hot.. double boiling is the worst method to use.. and nobody has talked about adding water until now .. y’all just eating CBN

Multiple people have mentioned adding water (including me two years ago on page one). Six whole posts on RIU and you come storming in here, insult everybody and then go on to prove you have no reading comprehension. I would have been curious to hear your perfect method but now I could give a shit. Nightmare indeed now that you came by Karen...

as long as your weed is decarbed you want a fast cook process. unless you want all that plant matter in there
its like making shatter or RSO with ISO alcohol or grain alcohol. let it sit longer then a minute its starts absorbing chlorophyll and eating plant matter.
(hense why BHO is never green) if so you just harvested wet and blasted. only way i can see

You quick wash. breaking out only the trichomes --- thc ect.... nice light clear gold. POTENT AS SHIT. dark green - taste like ass(edibles potent but ass)
all your doing is releasing the excess chlorophyll and plant matter.
you can literally watch the thc bond to the fat and know when its done
